The Ministry of Information Technology & Telecommunication is making
strides for facilitating the industry and address emerging issues pertaining
to cross cutting sectors which will be impacted as a result of digital
transformation. I am confident that our relentless efforts will help us in
improving our existing standards of living by enhancing our service delivery
systems, local ICT content development and linkage of IT professionals
with job markets. This in turn would address the critical issues as
identified by UN through Sustainable Development Goals for the
developing countries .
Digitalization is transforming the very paradigm in which development
takes place. We are determined to pass on the benefits of technology to
all our citizens equitably. Our commitment is steadfast, our resolve is
deep and I am confident that with this resolution and under the visionary
guidance of Honorable Prime Minister, we shall make Pakistan a “Digital
Pakistan”. That is we aim at and that is we see through. May Allah help all
of us to achieve this vision. Ameen!
