SATB

A native of Wisconsin, Randy Haldeman has taught Choral and General Music in all levels of academia; Pre-K through collegiate in Wisconsin, Idaho, Illinois, Florida , Vermont, and Italy. Haldeman earned the Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater, the Master of Music degree in Voice and Opera Performance from Northwestern University, and the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Music Education (Choral Conducting emphasis) from The Florida State University. Haldeman's choral arrangements are published through Colla Voce Music, Inc. in the Rodney Eichenberger Choral Series, and have been performed by groups under the direction of Andre Thomas, Rodney Eichenberger, and other collegiate directors throughout the country. Active as a performer as well as an educator, Haldeman has garnered critical praise on the operatic, musical theater, and concert stages. Appearances of national interest include "Mr. Snow" in the 50th Anniversary Production of Carousel, and "Uncle Billy" in the Chicago premier of Sheldon Harnik's A Wonderful Life. As a conductor, his choral groups have received enthusiastic responses from audiences and critics alike in 11 states and Europe, including several state and regional festivals and contests. He currently directs the choral music program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, is Coordinator of Choral Music Education, and teaches conducting and education courses.

After a number of years as Professor of Choral Music and Conductor of the Chamber Choir at Florida State University, Rodney Eichenberger has reduced his teaching responsibilities there, but maintains a busy professional schedule elsewhere. He has conducted more than 75 US All State Choirs and guest conducted or lectured at more than 80 US, Australian, and New Zealand Universities. Recent international appearances include guest conducting the Pusan, Korea City Choir and Korean National Chorus in Seoul, International High School Honor Choirs in Tokyo and Berlin, and leading conducting workshops in Argentina, Brazil, France, Norway, Sweden, Scotland, Austria, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. His instructional videos on Choral Conducting, "What They See Is What You Get" and "Enhancing Musicality Through Movement" are widely used in collegiate conducting classes. A graduate of St. Olaf College with advanced study at the Universities of Denver, Washington, and Iowa, be taught at the University of Washington and the University of Southern California prior to his appointment at Florida State University.
