AIR INTELLIGENCE INFORMATION REPORTFROM (Amur) • wow NO.

1. Information was released recently in Argentina which stated that the InvestigatingCommission in Cordoba had produced interesting details concerning the activities ofPERCU I s prot40, the former Nazi flying ace, Colonel HANS URLICH RUaa.

2. From info n available there are indications that RUDEL entered Argentina underthe name of ENA YER and signed a • contract with I.A.M.E. (Industrias Aeronauticas yMseanicas del Es do) where he received a large salary but did no work.. Informationfrom Cordoba police files indicates that he later resumed his real name.

3. This. Investigating Commission has supposedly published a series of letters received.from German Nazi leaders urging RUDEL to return and take over the leadership of theNazi movement in Germany. The last letter, according to this information, voicesanxiety about RODEL'S services after the 16 June revolution and states "your friendshare see you already at the head of the army fighting for Sr.' PERM or in command ofthe Argentine Air Force."

4. The most interesting informatio0Produced by this Investigating Commission is be-lieved to be a letter by Sir OS"ALAILOSLEY, former leader of the British Fascist Party,addressed to ex-general PERON on 2 January 1955 in which he writes;

"Your Excellency, I have the honour to write to you in connection with my-friend Colonel H. U. RUDE1 to beg you to again have' the kindness of sendinghim to Europe as soon as potsible.

"Several of us have the impression that his presence in 141rope is of the-greatest value for the maintenance of the position of Germany and the wholeof Europe against the dangers that now threaten.

"Confidence can always be had in him to sustain with ability and energy the-true values of civilization, so much furthered by the work dose by I.E.".

5. From a different source it wss reported that/in approximately March of 1.953 ColonelRUDEL attended a gathering of (lormer Nazis in Stuttgart, Germany, where a number ofspeeches were made by former Ntzi officers who were anti-U.S. and generally follow thecommunist doctrine."eery good supporter of RUDEL, VON REICHENAL, a brother of the

hal4'aGerman Field mare VON REICHENAL, was one of the principal speakers at this meeting.This contact told repo ,ing officer that VON REICHENAL had worked for the British duringthe war in India but after the war had joined up with the communist movement. Contactstated that after this speech in Stuttgart no further contact was made with VON REICH-ENAL and his whereabouts at this time are unknown. Information available seams to in-dicate that RUDEL is possibly leaving Argentina and going to Russia or to the EasternZone of Germany in the near future. Contact stated that RIMEL had made numerous tripsto Germany and had been living in a vary luxurious fashion during his stay in Argentina.There are indications that RUDEL l a activities here in Argentina could possibly have beans.financed bi the communists. .

Comments of Preparing Officer;

6. Generally the information is believed to be true as it has been verified by severalsources. Colonel RUDEL is not known by members of this office but is reported to bevery anti-U.S. Information from Argentine Air Force personnel indicates that RUDELcontributed nothing to the Argentine Air Force and is not liked by a great percentageof Argentine Air Force personnel.

2. The procedure which was followed by TANK and RODEL is definitely illegal butit was a procedure which quits a few Germans used during 1947-1948 in escaping fromGermany to Argentina and other countries in doutth America. .

11. Cordoba - The investigating Commission made known the following; "Some daysagO4he provincial investigating commission toldof information on irregularitiesproven in the granting of documents (Passports, identity cards, certificates, etc.)in fOcr of BANS ULFL/CO RUDEL, an ex-German ace of the last war and who had beendesignated by the Neo-Nag German Novemeut as the "Fnhrer" to replace ADOLF HITLER.ThlOonfirmed what was in a book written by SILVAN° SANTANDER .while in exile inMenheeideo during the Argentine dictatorship, a twin to that of .Germany."

mar TANK is another of the Germans denounced in the mentioned book. Upon thewarAs ead in Europe, the Argentine dictator in keeping with his fraternal leaningstowards Hitlerism, Italian Fascism, etc., gave RUBEL and many others a most cordialwelcome, This Curaiality made a joke of Argentine law. A designer of Focke Nulfplsies, TANK wee placed under contract by 1.A.M.E.

In the same way as RIMEL, TANK obtained documents in the country under an&sated name. His case has distinct features, perhaps more groteeyue than in RUOWncam appeared before the Cordoba police as an Argentine. He was "PEDRO JORGE,'AlAiltk", eon of GUILLERMO and ANA SCHER21IAG4R. The one con-traqed by 1.A.W.E» was KURT TANK, the toad famous plane designer who was soughtaii.exi; by the Allied authorities to determine his part in the fighting and infamouaregimen in whose service he was employed. •

-5r As with RIMEL, the file on TANK is fruitful in documents which were given TANKfor use in his distinct activities. Thus TANK committed the crime of using falsepublic documents which is prohibited by article 296 of the Penal Code. All this -making a joke of Argentine law - was aided and abetted by the Argentine dictator andHie followers to whom this' aapect of fundamental subjection, the ignorance and the

•civic violation of legal structures, which they imposed upon the country, matteredlittle. Pure Ayrians these man - apocalyptic agents of the most developed technicaland dreaded barbarousness known to the world- what does it mean to them to violate,with the complacency and complicity of the Argentine tyrant, the juridical ordinancesof a. country 11AB ours, as far as they were concerned inferior and inhabited by animpure race?

6: As in the case of atam., there came a moment in Welch TANK decided to "retake"..nis true name. That moment surely is marked by a chance in international conditionsand a disappeamece of wie Langer for Nazi-German air aces and technicians. 6ith the
