Previous Knowledge : The students were taught on how to skim and scan for details from a text.
Curriculum : 2.0 Language for informational use
Specifications 2.1 : Obtain information for different purposes by:
a. listening to spoken text.
General objective : To enable students to understand the importance of stress management and ways to reduce stress
Specific objective : By the end of the lesson, students would be able to :
i) List down the actions that could be taken to reduce stress based on the video shown.
ii) Act out a stressful scene given to them showing how they would handle it through one of the
ways listed in previous stage
Focus skill : Listening
Integrated skills : Speaking and writing
Educational Emphases : Thinking skills
Anticipated problem : Students might feel shy to act in front of the class.
Action to be taken : Teacher motivates the students and boost their confidence level by giving moral support.
