Check requirements for specific program and gather your necessary
documents for scanning:
• Your transcripts
• Proof of English Language proficiency
• Certified English translation of any documents issued in the
language other than English
• A copy of your passport (photo page)

application will begin to be processed.
• It can take from 2-8 weeks to process an application. Having all your documents scanned and
attached to the online application decreases wait time.3

• Fill-in the on-line International Application for Admission form (world.viu.ca/apply)
which includes uploading your documents
• Pay the $150 (CAD) non-refundable Application Processing Fee
