to Oak Grove Inn, The Birmingham Harmony Belles! They were formed in 2013 when
asked to provide entertainment for an event at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church. It
was so well received that they decided to keep the act going.
The trio performs an “Andrews Sisters” type show singing music primarily from the Big Band
and Swing era of the 1930’s, 40’s, and 50’s. They also feature a medley of patriotic songs in
many of their performances.
The singers are Kiley Watson, Louisa Elmore, and Nan Hastings Hornsby. Their
accompanist is Karen Krekelberg who is also the Associate Director of Music Ministries and
Organist at Vestavia Hill U.M.C. YOU WON’T WANT TO MISS THEM!

Tom Hanks portrays Mister Rogers in A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN
THE NEIGHBORHOOD, a timely story of kindness triumphing
over cynicism, based on the true story of a real-life
friendship between Fred Rogers and journalist Tom Junod.
After a jaded magazine writer (Emmy winner Matthew
Rhys) is assigned a profile of Fred Rogers, he overcomes his
skepticism, learning about empathy, kindness, and
decency from America's most beloved neighbor.
*FYI: March 20th is, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor Day”. It is
the birth anniversary of Fred McFeely Rogers aka Mister
Rogers, 1928 – 2003.

The Times of Your Life!.....
We want to celebrate with you as you have those “Proud” moments in your life! If you would like to share with everyone some of those moments that are occurring (i.e.; special recognitions or awards, anniversaries, weddings, new babies in the family) please contact Chris by the 15th of each month to submit your information or announcement.
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU AND ABOUT YOU!
Adapted from the beloved literary classic, THE CALL OF THE WILD vividly brings to the screen the story of Buck, a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life is turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Alaskan Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s. As the newest rookie on a mail delivery dog sled team--and later its leader--Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime, ultimately finding his true place in the world and becoming his own master. As a live-action/animation hybrid, THE CALL OF THE WILD employs cutting edge visual effects and animation technology in order to render the animals in the film as fully photorealistic--and emotionally authentic--characters.
