In line with the new National Curriculum framework, the
Liverpool FC Foundation Schools Programme offers highly
qualified and experienced practitioners who can work both
alongside school staff and independently to deliver national

CURRICULUM TEAM TEACH OR PPA
Our Physical Education curriculum provides the following benefits to your school and pupils:
Clear and measurable impact on physical literacy and enjoyment
of Physical Education
Valuable support, guidance and experience for teachers, ensuring
effective and sustainable delivery of PE for all pupils
Adds quality and value to your current school sports offer
Offers appropriate and enjoyable competitive opportunities for all pupils
Our staff are highly qualified and trained to deliver National
Curriculum for PE both in mainstream or specialist educational
settings. They are equipped to plan, deliver and assess Physical
Education at Foundation Level, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Our coaches design their lessons to ensure pupils’ fundamental
movement skills; agility, balance, coordination and speed are
continually developed and challenged.
Building on this foundation of fundamental movement skills,
lessons will cover one of three topics: FUNdamentals in isolation
and combination, team games and multi-skills development.
You will receive a copy of our School Sports curriculum folder.
Using a pupil-centred approach, our staff will add to the
content of this on-going folder throughout the year by completing
long-term, mid-term and weekly lesson plans. Each half term
our coaches will have weekly lesson outcomes which will guide
the pupils towards their objectives. This aspect of planning
and support can assist with your workforce development.

P4 We are not the answer, we are part of the whole. The child must be at the centre of learning.
Therefore it is our belief that there is a difference between outsourcing and bringing in expertise in order to create sustainability.
Our pupils that take part in the LFC Foundation PE lessons are healthy, active and gaining confidence. Our staff are seeing quality PE delivery being reinforced by in-depth pupil centred planning within the LFC Foundation curriculum folder. The partnership between our school and LFC Foundation is positively impacting both staff and pupils.

EXTRA CURRICULUM
Our extra curricular clubs can be delivered as breakfast, lunchtime or after-school clubs. These clubs are a great way of engaging young people with additional exercise opportunities.
For those pupils who have a desire to increase sporting
ability, these clubs are an ideal way for them to develop
skills and competence. The delivery of these clubs
is included in your programme and must be either before
or after the curriculum sessions.
The expertly delivered after school football club is beneficial for our pupils and gives added value to our partnership with Liverpool FC Foundation.

FOOTBALL OFFER MINI LEAGUE
Does your school have ambitious sports teams? If so, our coaches are able to support staff members in school sports team development. This support ranges from coaching and session planning to fixture management.
These leagues are brilliant! It’s something for all of us (teachers and kids) to look forward to. As a result we can use these games as a carrot for positive behaviour, then there’s the health aspect, they get fitter each game, plus the team ethics not to mention competitive sport!

PREMIER LEAGUE SCHOOLS TOURNAMENT
The Premier League Schools Tournament is a national event for
pupils in year 5/6. Schools from across the UK compete in regional
tournaments and qualifiers, each hosted by a Premier League Club,
hoping for the chance to compete at a Premier League stadium in
the Grand Final. Previous finals have been held at Anfield Stadium,
the Etihad Stadium and the Emirates Stadium.
We had a fantastic day and the kids loved every minute, the tournament was organised brilliantly and we really appreciate having the opportunity to come and play at Liverpool FC’s training ground.

Everything we have wanted to have done has been done ranging from delivery to support. It is much more beneficial than previous partnerships we have had. My deputy head also concurs that lessons are higher quality, more organised and more in line with the school’s needs. This partnership is having a positive impact on our children.
