You want a space of your own, a place for your thoughts, your ideas and your words. Lintex manufactures writing boards for schools and offices but bring to this a stringency and subtlety like a well-developed fashion line. They add style and design expertise in a world in which aesthetics have, for years, taken a back seat. Whiteboards, office screens and sound absorbers have been the anonymous carthorses of schools and conference premises. Lintex have changed all that, aiming to surprise and challenge the image of what a writing board can be. Lintex maintains its very own attitude in this world of non-design. By working with a number of Scandinavias leading designers they give writable surfaces a stylish and functional beauty by using tempered glass, high end textiles, solid wood and enamelled steel. The focus on design and materiality heightens function of the products, making them a delight to use. The products deliver a simple function, but they do it with elegance. The level of design also improves what is written on the boards. Beautiful tools enhance creativity, out- of-the-box thinking and new options. That is why the products are so popular and that is why Lintex is market leader in its field. Thinking big and never be afraid of being different. Lintex is a family business founded in 1983. All products are sold under the Lintex brand name. Head office and factory are located in the town of Nybro in southern Sweden, a district associated with inventiveness and with Swedish handmade glass. Lintex have subsidiarys, sales offices and agents elsewhere in Scandinavia, Europe and various parts of the world.

Working sustainably is essential. Lintex is constantly engaged in improving its environmental profile. Today the manufacturing is energy neutral through the use of geothermal heating and some 3,200 solar panels installed on the factory roof in late 2019, producing 1.1 million kWh annually. Solar panels and geothermal heating together contribute as much electricity and heat as the factory actually uses. The system is durable and can carry on supplying green energy for decades to come. All products are manufactured by people with good working conditions and pay. By controlling the production, Lintex can decide which raw materials and processes to use from a sustainable perspective. But also, the design itself have to be long-term. Better-designed products last longer from an emotional standpoint and can be reused in new environments. If a product survives from one office to another its environmental footprint become substantially lower. Great design and durable quality are never out of date. Lintex work closely with the Swedish reference and labelling system Möbelfakta and the Sunda Hus Environmental Data system. Lintex is also ISO 14001-certified.

Our ceramic steel whiteboards are of the highest quality and include a 30-year warranty on the writing surface. The steel sheet core is made of 50% recycled material and the boards are up to 99% recyclable. All boards are individually packaged and include fittings for wall mounting.

Air Spaces was designed with the idea of connecting Air whiteboards to create a large continuous writing space. Concealed fittings make the joints subtle, measuring less than 1 mm. Air Spaces can also be complemented with textile modules (see Air Textile).

CLAIMS

We reserve the right to hold products until payment terms are agreed. All goods remain the property of Lintex until payment is settled in full.

For stock products: 5-8 working days. For all other products: Please enquire directly with your local agent or Lintex representative as delivery times may vary. All estimated delivery times are calculated from the date the order is placed. The confirmed shipment date is when the goods leave the factory.

Standard stock products may be returned within 14 days of delivery. The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the goods to the factory. All goods must be returned in their original, undamaged packaging. Any damage incurred during transit will be charged to the customer. Before returning any goods, a Lintex representative must be contacted and a returns note obtained. Lintex will charge the customer a returns fee of 20% of the total value of the goods. An order may be cancelled within three working days of order confirmation. No refunds will be issued for non-stock products that have already been manufactured.

Unless otherwise stated a quote applies for 60 days. Orders are accepted once confirmed in writing by a Lintex representative.

If upon arrival the product is damaged, this shall be noted on the consignment note before receipt is acknowledged. The responsible shipping agent shall be notified of any damage claims. Claims can be filed 7 days after receipt in the event the damage was not discovered upon arrival. Other claims due to obvious shortcomings on our part shall be submitted in writing to Lintex.

30 days from invoice. In case of delayed payment, late charges of 8% will be debited reference interest rate of the Swedish Central Bank.

Delivered goods remain the property of Lintex until full payment has been made.

We reserve the right to adjust prices due to costs of raw materials and fluctuations in currency. Articles can also be subject to structural and design changes. All prices are excluding VAT/sales tax.

Lintex provides a 2-year guarantee on all products against manufacturing defects. The guarantee period begins from the date of delivery. The guarantee is subject to the Lintex care and maintenance guide being followed by the customer. All products should be installed in an environment kept at room temperature, not exposed to abnormal wear and tear or damaging treatment. When products are mounted and assembled by an installer recommended by Lintex, the 2-year guarantee commences from the date of approved inspection.
