13,177 families found support through LifeWorks last year. We work with young men and women who’ve experienced circumstances that are unimaginable: abuse, neglect, violence. Many have spent years moving from one foster care placement to another without ever knowing a single adult that they could depend on, and far too many escape to what feels like the “freedom” of life on the streets.

Every young person who comes to LifeWorks is facing a fork in the road.

One road leads down an all-too-familiar path of neglect, anger, apathy, and disengagement.

But there is another road offered by LifeWorks.

We give every young person who comes to us a safe environment where they can experience respect, develop their dreams, and put together a long-term plan. We help our clients see themselves in new ways, and in the process, to see their futures in new ways. For many of our clients, just realizing they have options is a remarkable and empowering experience. And we know that options lead to opportunities and opportunities lead to success. This is the pattern that breaks generational cycles and changes lives.

At LifeWorks, we don’t shy away from data — we embrace it. Because we know that all our passion, commitment, and hard work must produce consistent and measurable outcomes.

At some point in life, everyone comes to a fork in the road. At LifeWorks, we offer youth the road that is empowering, rewarding, and ultimately, life- affirming. It ’s the path to self-sufficiency.

My thanks to you for your continued partnership and support as we make a measurable impact in the lives of our community’s youth and families.

Susan

At LifeWorks, we believe in the transformational power of acceptance. We are fiercely committed to empowering youth and families to find their path to self-sufficiency. And we are determined to have a measurable, sustained impact on our community that will last generations.
