INTRODUCTION

Library has discon�nued the EndNote subscrip�on star�ng 2013 and for exis�ng EndNote users,

you’re encouraged to use the Mendeley so ware as reference manager tool from now on. The

so ware can be downloaded at: h&p://www.mendeley.com/.

For EndNote users, expor�ng the exis�ng reference into .xml file is needed as a part of reference

migra�on. Users needs to follow the following steps:

1. Open the EndNote so�ware

2. In the EndNote so�ware window, click to File and Export

3. Save the export file as XML (eg: MMU.xml)

4. Open Mendeley So�ware, Go to File click Import >EndNote XML—EndNote V8, X1 to X3 & select the Saved

File (*.xml)

5. Now all the references will be imported into Mendeley library.

From EndNote Web

6. Login to your EndNote Web Account

7. Click to Format Tab > Export References > Choose “All references in My Library” & “RefMan (RIS) Export” >

Click Save

8. Open Mendeley So�ware, Go to File click Import > RIS-Research InformaBon System (*.ris) & select the

Saved File (*.ris)

CONCLUSION

Now all the references will be imported into Mendeley library.
