That’s not a problem, we intentionally have a larger team than most so that nothing’s ever too much trouble, or too far away. Inside Leycester HouseWe have taken every care to create a home inside Leycester House. Our interior designs and furniture are unique, and more akin to the rooms and hallways of a boutique hotel. We have made every effort to give the home a personality, full of colour, artwork and objects that turn somewhere from a house into a home.

Your bedroom has a very large en-suite wet room, and it’s well lit and soothingly decorated. In the main living areas of the house you will find lounges with views over our landscaped gardens. Dining rooms and kitchens are evenly situated across all floors, offering you variety and convenience every day.

Encouraging a vibrant social scene within the home is the centre of everything we do at Leycester House, and our inspiring events take place regularly in the heart of the home: our bar bistro. It’s cosy and warm in the winter and opens up to our fabulous garden in the spring. When you view the home, be sure to take your time and savour each room, and sample the bistro. Maybe even choose your favourite reading spot!

The activities and events on offer to our residents and their friends all share a common theme; they are both inspiring and stimulating. The whole home was built around a central social area, taking in the bar bistro and the garden room areas, and it’s in here where the fun happens. From cabaret to casino and flamenco to flaming cocktails, there’s nothing we won’t try if our residents fancy it.

We’re not just focused on the social scene within the home either, the whole point of being in the heart of the community is to make it easier for friends and relatives to not just drop in, but to come and join the fun, as part of our community.

Our bar bistro has been designed to reflect the sophistication our residents are accustomed to, retaining the feel and finish one would expect to find in a restaurant rather than a care home. The delicious, fine cuisine served up by our in-house chef continues to delight both residents and their families, whether it’s a Monday morning breakfast or a fine-dining Friday.

The menus change regularly using quality, locally sourced ingredients and our bistro affords residents the chance to dine as if they were in their favourite eatery. In addition to the food prepared on a daily basis for

ResidentialThis service invites people to become residents of Leycester House for one all-inclusive weekly fee. This includes a private bedroom with an en-suite wet room, and full use of the home’s wonderful facilities. Help and care is on hand 24/7 when required.

DementiaOur dedicated dementia suite is staffed by a carefully selected team of people. Residents benefit from a personalised environment that is customised to help them cope with everyday life, and that helps them feel safe and comfortable at all times of the day and night. Residents benefit from the same luxuries and dedicated care as everyone else in the home.

Day & Respite Day & respite care allows non-residents to enjoy all the benefits of Leycester House for a short period of time. A day at Leycester House is an ideal way of trying out the home prior to moving in permanently, and respite is perfect for people who need time to rest, or to allow caregivers elsewhere a break. A day includes transport to and from the home, breakfast, lunch, dinner, enjoyment of any of the activities that are taking place, and use of all the home’s facilities.

NursingWhen you need a little more care and need a registered nurse to help you, we have all the facilities on hand. We have an exceptional nursing suite with a skilled and highly experienced nursing team. Our rooms include profiling beds to ensure you are comfortable, complete with adaptable soft mattresses to care for your skin. We have the experience to care for you or your loved one at whatever stage of life you may be at.
