Dear Foreign Minister,

The BRCNL hopes that this message of BRCNL will draw the prompt attention ofDutch Government, which is crucial to the innocent Rohingya ethnic minority ofBurma that is on the verge of extermination ["Rohingya Cleansing" Medecins SansFrontieres(MSF) reported l .

It is now more than ten months since violence began in Arakan, Burma. Theviolence can no longer be described as simply communal. It has becomesystematic POGROM targeting the Rohingya and Kaman ethnic minority fHumanRights Watch reported on 70th September 20121.

Daily life of Rohingya and Kaman in Arakan is getting worse, unspeakable anddire [Valerie Amos of UN's Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief reported onSth December 20121.

something very soon they are going to die. "The conditions in some of the areasin Arakan which are described as akin to Concentration Camps", said an expeft.

The government of President Thein Sein, a former junta general, has internationalobligations to face for the serious crimes and systematic human rights abusesagainst ethnic minorities, particularly against Rohingya ethnic minority [Mr. TomasOjea Quintana, Special Rapporteur on the situation of Human Rights in Myanmarof IJN reported in Geneva on Bth March 20131.

A Parliament Member [MP] of Myanmar has with the courage of despairrecently written in his e-mail to me "Rohingyas are virtually under siege".

Attacks have also spread in Yangon division. The attack in the Township HlaingTharyar on 1't March and in Tharkida on 17th February has initially taken place.

These attacks and various persecutions have been taking place with a mixture oftacit and overt support from the military-backed government in Burma intended tocleanse Rohingyas from Arakan.

The BRCNL is concerned by the ongoing attacks and various persecutionsRohingyas facing daily in Arakan, Burma; notes that police, state security andnational Burmese Army soldiers are taking part in some of the attacks; is furthervery much worried by President Thein Sein's request for international assistance indeporting all Rohingya from Burma which gives encouragement to Rakhine mobscarrying out the attacks, his indication on his European trip that his Governmentdoes not intend to revise the 1982 Citizenship Law and his government'srestrictions on the international assistance to Internally Displaced Persons[IDPs][Lotte Leicht, El,J director at Human Rights Watch repofted on 4th March 2013].

Innocent lives are being lost every hour in Arakan. Professor William Schabas, the former president of the International Association of Genocide Scholars saysthat it turns into the Genocide.

We believe in the leadership of Dutch government. We know that Dutchgovernment has influence over the EU and US. Therefore, we based on; 1) theinformation we receiving daily from the ground of Arakan, 2) reports of Mr.Tomas Ojea Quintana, 3) reports of Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International
