ACTIVITY 1 – Warm up
Aims:
to get Ss involved into the topic
to use properly the vocabulary related to clothes and colours
to remind the form of Present Continuous
PROCEDURE INTERACTION TIMING
The student on duty tells the absents; the teacher writes the
absentees in the catalogue; then T checks homework and students
correct mistakes, if necessary.
Ss are asked several questions about weather and their mood. T
corrects their homework (exercise 5 page 87) orally.Then,T puts
the following headings on the BB :

Girls
T asks Ss to write some clothes which the boys and girls are
wearing In pairs they give examples.

Teacher asks the students: what kind of clothes are they wearing,
Students answer the question. The teacher tells students that they
will get a word puzzle and they have to work in pairs and find the
eight clothes. The teacher gives the students the sheet of paper, the
students find and then read the names of the clothes they found.

Then the STs answer like this:

Aims:

to practice the form of going to
to ask and answer about clothes
PROCEDURE INTERACTION TIMING
T elicits and briefly drills several examples of questions and
answers form, using the clothes related vocabulary.

No, I am not.
T reminds the students that Present Continuous is used for
expressing the current activities.
