Physical Education Lesson Focus: Ensuring Students are familiar with the correct form for individual NAPFA station

Source/Mode: SLS

Assigned Task: Lesson Package called "NAPFA Test Stations". Log in to SLS. Students will watch the videos on the correct form for executing the individual stations for NAPFA. They will then reflect and pen down their learning, on what is stipulates a right and incorrect form for individual stations.

Students are to submit their work by 5pm.

Lesson Focus: FITT Principle, how it can be applied to personalize workouts, as well as understanding the benefits that come along with it. Source/Mode: SLS

Assigned Task: Lesson Package called "FITT Principle". Log in to SLS. Students will first learn of what is FITT as well as how it can be used to raise/lower the intensity of their own personal workouts. They will also learn of how to measure intensity level of workouts via heart rate indicators. They will then apply their understanding into examples and scenarios provided, before taking a quiz. Subsequently, students will participate in a workout, together with their family members, and apply what they have learnt about measuring intensity, to get an understanding of their current levels of fitness.
