Here are some frequently asked questions. WHEN SHOULD YOU SIGN UP FOR A TOUR? RIGHT NOW. You should sign up for a tour the moment you think you want to go on it. Be sure that you are on the list if you want to have a seat on the bus. We MIGHT get you on the tour later if the bus is not full. A lot of our tours sell out quickly. Just so you know, we often add little extras (photo stops, stores or rest stops at interesting places.) DAY TOURS: WE HAVE TO MAKE TOUR RUN/ NO RUN DECISIONS 31 DAYS PRIOR TO TOUR DEPARTURE ON ALL DAY TOURS. OVERNIGHT TOURS: WE HAVE TO MAKE TOUR RUN/ NO RUN DECISIONS 61 DAYS PRIOR TO TOUR DEPARTURE ON ALL DAY TOURS. HOW OUR PRICING WORKS: The prices listed in this catalog are per person. For example if the price is $150 Double, both people sharing a room pay $150 each. Another question we are often asked concerns tips. We have a recommendation on the terms and conditions page, but if the driver or tour manager goes “above and beyond”, you may choose to tip more. Please note that if we have to increase the cost of a tour due to fuel costs, the change is made when a new catalog goes out. If you have already paid your deposit, you price does NOT change. TOUR CANCELLATION: If we cancel a tour because of lack of participation, you will get 100% of your money back (including your insurance.) If you wait to sign up, one of two things may happen, the tour may be full or it may be cancelled. CONFIRMATION PACKET: You will receive a confirmation package about 2-3 weeks prior to departure. This package will have directions to the pickup point, your receipt, names of hotels and tour specific information, i.e. what to wear. Tour Itineraries are given out on the morning of departure for overnight tours. Today, after our travel to Clarksville, TN we will visit a local tobacco farm. This area is home of the largest tobacco warehouse in the world. This evening we begin our Veteran’s Celebration. Bill Robinson, the longest enlisted POW in American history will be the keynote speaker this evening. Day two will start with mystery and mystic by “Magic at the Museum.” First tour the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center. Then it is time for some magic. Join Master Magician Terry Hedges for a great time of magic and laughter. Next it is time to visit Fort Defiance. See Clarksville’s Civil War story with interactive displays, re-enactors and a guided tour. Time for lunch, where we will have a keynote speaker. On to the Traveling Vietnam Wall and the Veteran’s Field of Flags for a Wreath Laying Ceremony. After dinner at a local venue, step back in time to enjoy the Bob Hope Canteen Show. VERMONT / NEW HAMPSHIRE Sep. 23-Oct 1, 2017 (Saturday-Sunday)

We begin our journey to New England. We travel to northern Virginia where we make our overnight. Day 2: We continue our journey today as we travel to historic Bethlehem, PA. We arrive in time for lunch and shopping on your own in historic downtown Bethlehem. This afternoon we visit the National Museum of Industrial History. Get a glimpse of some of the machines that helped shape America and beyond. The museum is located on the grounds of the former Bethlehem Steel plant, the building itself a former electrical repair shop. Next we visit the Hoover Mason Trestle. Overnight in PA. Day 3: Continue our journey to the Green Mountain State of Vermont. Stop at the Bennington Monument for pictures and continue to the charming town of Weston for a visit to the Vermont Country Store. Dinner tonight is included before you enjoy the Castle Hill Resort. Day 4: Board the coach for a day of touring with our local guide. Visit the Morse Sugar Farm, for a lively sugaring presentation. Free time in Montpelier and shop on your own. Complete the day with a visit to Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. Day 5: Board the coach for the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Our first stop is the Cannon Mountain Tram. Ride a 60 passenger tram up the 4200 foot summit where you can enjoy spectacular views of NH and VT. See the Flume Gorge, a natural gorge extending 800’ horizontally at the base of Mount Liberty in Franconia Notch State Park. Continue to Plymouth for the next two evenings. Day 6: Board the coach for Lake Winnipesaukee where we board the M/S Mount Washington for a scenic Cruise to the charming town of Wolfeboro. Free time for lunch and shopping on your own. Now for a trip to the Castle in the Clouds, a 16 room mansion and 5,500 acre mountaintop estate in Moultonborough. Tour a castle and outstanding views of the Lakes Region of NH. Day 7: Today we start home, we travel through NH and VT. Stop along Quechee Gorge for a picture stop.

Enjoy lunch and shopping in the charming town of Woodstock VT. This afternoon visit the historic Billings Farm and Museum where you can explore their agricultural museum, working dairy barns and 1890 working farmhouse. Continue to Albany, NY for the evening. EAST COAST SAMPLER September 25 - October 6, 2017

"Sample" the best of the East Coast. From major cities to a quaint fishing village,

enjoy the sights as we do the driving. Day 1: We travel through the beautiful

Shenandoah Valley, and overnight in the VA area. Day 2: Spend the

day in Washington, D.C. This is the day to get a taste of the nation's capitol. Today, you have a choice of

either visiting the museums OR monuments: the Museum of Natural History, Museum of American History and the Air and Space Museum OR the monuments, including the Vietnam Wall, Lincoln Memorial, Korean Memorial, and the WW II Memorial. (Overnight in MD) Day 3: Today, we visit Philadelphia, PA. You can see the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Tonight, we will overnight in Atlantic City. We will stay at a casino/hotel and see the famous Atlantic City Boardwalk. (Overnight Atlantic City, New Jersey.) Day 4: Today, we go to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty keeping in mind our ancestors’ struggles to get to the new country. If the Statue of Liberty is closed, we will do a harbor cruise for a close-up view of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. NOTE: WE DO NOT TOUR THE INSIDE OF THE STATUE NOR GO TO THE CROWN. (Overnight in CT) Day 5: This morning we visit the Mystic Seaport Museum and then off to Newport, RI. With a step-on guide, we will tour Newport and the famous ten-mile drive, which features the spectacular summer homes of the rich and famous. Plus visit the "Breakers", the most famous home in Newport (home of the Vanderbilts). (Tonight, overnight in MA. Two nights in the same hotel.) Day 6: Today we spend the day at the famous Martha's Vineyard. We will be taking the FULL island tour. You will have lunch on your own and free time in Edgartown. (Overnight in same hotel in Cape

Cod.) Day 7: This morning we stop at Plymouth Rock, now sheltered in its own enclosure where it is a symbol of the spirit of those first settlers who stepped ashore to face life in a new land. Lunch will be on your own with shopping at Quincy's Market in Boston. Of course, no tour to Boston is complete without a stop at the Old North Church and part of the Freedom Trail. Here in the days of powdered wigs and knee britches, ordinary citizens began the march to freedom. (Overnight in Maine.) Day 8: We travel to Kennebunkport, home of former President George Bush. There will be a guided tour of the town of Kennebunkport. Tonight is our Lobster dinner. (Of course for the "Landlubbers", there is a wonderful steak!) (We overnight in Maine.) Time’s control. All passengers are insured only while on the motorcoach. Leisure Time is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Lost and found items are donated to charity after two weeks. TOUR MANAGERS / DRIVERS: We select only courteous drivers with excellent safety records. Our professional, courteous tour managers’ primary goal is to provide the ultimate traveling experiences. TRANSPORTATION: We use air-conditioned, deluxe motorcoaches with restroom; comfortable adjustable seats; panoramic view, tinted windows; DVD’s; and public address systems. All passengers are insured while traveling aboard Leisure Time’s mtorcoaches. You must notify us when registering if an ADA motorcoach is required. LUGGAGE: The cost of the tour includes porterage for one large bag per person, maximum weight-45 lbs. If your luggage is overweight, you will be responsible for handling your own luggage. A charge of $10 per day will be collected by the Tour Manager for each additional piece of luggage that you bring. You may also thake one piece of carry-on luggage i.e. small overnight bag to fit in overhead rack. Abolutely no hanging bags. Leisure time extends every effort to make sure luggage is handled as carefully as possible; however, we cannot assume responsibility, liability or accept claims for loss, theft, or damage to luggage or personal belongings. Travel Protection offers benefits for baggage / personal effects and may be purchased at Leisure Time’s office. OBJECTIONABLE PERSON / BEHAVIOR: Leisure Time reserves the right to refuse transportation and /or services to persons who demonstrate objectionable behavior i.e. under the influence of alcohol on the motorcoach; smoking on the motorcoach; refusal to rotate seats; delaying group and/or not complying with regulations. At the tour manager’s discretion, a member may be asked to leave the trip if the leader feels the person’s further participation may be detrimental to the trip or to the individual. Arrangements will be made for transportation home by and at the violator’s expense and no refund will be given for the unused portion of the tour. HEALTH, MEDICATION AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS: In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Leisure Time will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the special needs of tour participants. Any physical and/or mental disability requiring special attention or treatment must be reported when reservations are made on any tour. A traveling companion who will assist this person must accompany any person who cannot travel independently or would need special assistance. Neither Leisure time personnel nor its suppliers may physically lift or assist clients onto transportation vehicles. (Only exception: on our wheelchair-equipped motorcoach, the driver will load and unload wheelchair bound passengers.) Leisure Time reserves the right to revoke acceptance of any passenger whose mental or physical deficiencies or disabilities or dietary requirements add to the tour operator or tour manager’s responsibilities. Remember to have an adequate supply of any medications in your purse, pocket or carry-on – not in your luggage. In case of an emergency, it is suggested you carry a list of all medications. Sorry, there is no refrigeration on motorcoaches, however,

you are welcome to carry a small-insulated bag for your refrigerated medication. Spare eyeglasses should be carried. If you suffer from motion sickness, you must have a physician’s note to definitely be seated in the first six rows. If you suffer from any other medical condition that requires specific seating, you must present a letter from the physician, and we will try to accommodate you. We cannot guarantee you a front row seat. SMOKING/LIQUOR: No smoking, chewing tobacco, or open liquor is allowed on the motorcoach. Frequent (approximately every 2-3 ½ hours) rest or meal stops afford the opportunities to smoke outside the coach. Some hotels are now 100% non-smoking hotels. Leisure Time will make every effort to notify you of the hotel policy. If a passenger smokes in a non-smoking room, the passenger may be charged a cleaning fee by the hotel. CLOTHING: We recommend traveling light – lightweight, casual, wash and wear clothing, comfortable walking shoes (not new ones), a sweater or jacket to use on the coach, alarm clock, umbrella or raincoat and perhaps a swimming suit. PICK-UP LOCATIONS: We have pick-up locations in Rome, Emerson, and Marietta. We will pick up at other locations if we have twenty (20) or more departing from that area we are notified before final pickup times are set. Please indicate the correct pick-up location for you when you register. Please be at your departure location 15 minutes prior to departure time. Breakfast stops are NOT made on the day of departure unless otherwise noted in the confirmation letter or catalog. PARKING: Leisure Time is not responsible for damage or loss. SEAT ROTATION: Seat rotations are done on multi-day tours. Seat mates rotate together. This allows for everyone to have an opportunity to get to know your fellow passengers. This may vary from once a day to four times a day depending on the type and length of the tour. Passengers will be asked to leave the trip if they refuse to rotate seats. PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP: We suggest that you carry some proof of citizenship identification anytime you travel. A passport is required when traveling into Canada or Mexico. The expiration date can be no less than six months after the scheduled date of return. Leisure Time is not responsible if you do not have the proper documentation. TIPPING: How much you tip is a personal matter and completely up to you. We suggest $2-$4 per day for the tour manager and $2-$4 per day for the driver.
