Commander's NotesThe Legion will have the Fish Fry this month on
Friday November 4th.Karaoke will be from 8:30pm to11:30pm.On
November 5th the VFW will be serving lunch to veterans only from
noon to 2:00pm.November 8th is Election Day, remember to get out
and vote. The Legion will be open all day on that Tuesday.Veterans
Day service is on November 11thin Huntington at the First Church of
the Nazarene from 6:00pm to8:00pm. There will be a dinner served at
6:30pm and is open to everyone. This will be an evening of fun
andfellowship to honor all of our veterans. Special guest HNHS
principal and soldier Jeremy Gulley.The Annual RabbitFry is
November 14thfrom 5:00pm to 6:30pm. With Legion Meeting to follow.
The rabbitfry is open to everyone.On November lS" the Legion Riders
will be having a chili and hot dog dinner starting at 5:OOpmuntil
gone.There will be Karaoke with Gary Bradley following. Iope
everyone has seen the fine job the Riders did on thehill
surrounding the American Flag. What a beautiful enhancement this
was and our thanks to the Riders. ThankYou!The Auxiliary Feather
Bingo is on November 20th at 1:OOpm.Come join the fun and play for

the 3m Wednesday of the month at 7 :OOpmwill begin this month.
Thedrawing has been started with 308eople. It will pay $300. The
sign up sheet is still on the board. When they getanother 10 to
sign up making it 4 people, it will go to $400. When another 10
people sign up making it 50people, it will go to $500 so you still
have time to sign up for a chance to win the drawing.It is that
time of year again. A box has been put by the door for
contributions to our needyfamilies for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Sometimes we forget there are people worse off thenwe are. Please
do your share to help others. The Auxiliary is still collecting
coupons to be sentover seas to the military families. Please Save
yours and leave at the Legion.
