    Malaysia and Ireland both have similarrestrictions on controlled drugs.

    The restrictions in both countries are on the

    manufacturing, planting, importing, exporting,keeping, concealing, buying, selling, giving,receiving, storing, administering, transporting,

    carrying, sending, delivering, procuring,

    supplying or distributing of controlled drugsexcept under and in accordance with theauthorization of the Minister.

    Section 3 states :-

    3. (1) A person shall not have a controlled drug inhis possession.

    (2) A person who has a controlled drug in his

    possession shall be guilty of an offence.

    regulation for prohibiting , controlling , and

    restricting the cultivation, production,possession, sale and distribution of controlled

    drugs.
