Flipped Classroom - students first study the lesson at home, then discussion and activities happen in class with teacher and other students.
Distance Learning - students study away from the class (eg. studying from home).
Virtual Classroom - no physical classroom, but similar teaching and learning happens online.

SELF LEARNING BEFORE THE CLASS
•Students should watch the videos uploaded to Youtube.
•Students should complete the exercises given in video lessons.
• Laptop / Smartphone OR
• PC - with microphone, speaker, (webcam - optional)
• REQUIRES parental / adult supervision for every online session, to ensure these facilities are used for intended purposes only.
• P3 and below - adult supervision is needed through the FULL session.

JOINING THE MEETING•Enter your MS Teams username and
password.
•Check MS Teams Calendar and EduCal every Sunday (if possible daily).
•Go to MS Teams Calendar.
•Select the meeting you want to join.
•Click “Join” button.

•Join from a link.
•Join from Calendar.
•Join from Channel.
•Join from Chat/ Conversation.
DURING THE VIRTUAL CLASS
• Be at a place where there is less noise and disturbances.
• Keep all completed work and books at your desk.
• LISTEN to the teacher - pay careful attention to what the teacher says.
• Follow instructions - such as switch on video, mute your microphone, etc.
• Participate when required.
• Take notes of important points.
SELF LEARNING AFTER THE CLASSStudents:
•Make notes/ summary/ mind maps from what was discussed and learnt.
•Do the homework given by teacher.
•Write reflections/ observations/ questions in a diary/ notebook/ journal entry.

• Keep books and materials ready.
• Be punctual - join the sessions on-time.

• Click “Sign in” option.
• Type username and password given by the school.
• CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD to something you will remember - (new password should be more than 8 characters long, with uppercase and lowercase letters and a number).
