SECRETARY, ORONOQUE VILLAGE CONDOMINIUM BOARD OF DIRECTORS: 2016-PRESENT As an Executive Officer on the OVCA Board, I work closely with the entire Board and the Executive Director in the areas of planning and problem solving. Responsible for establishing agendas for the OVCA Board meetings with the Executive Director, officers and input from the District Representatives and Standing Committee Chairs. Ensure that Notification of Meeting is made and review the minutes of the OVCA meetings prior to presenting them to the Board for acceptance. I have led by example and am action oriented and produce results. I am dedicated to the well thought out governing process that has served this Association and have a deep commit- ment to a healthy, happy and successfully functioning Oronoque Village. My time has been devoted to the following: Chair, By-Laws Revision Committee Chaired the By-Laws Revision Committee to incorporate and help expedite the Board’s review of the proposed revisions. Completed the project under a very tight time constraint to present the By-Laws to Unit Owners before September 2016. That goal was achieved. Led and worked with the By-Laws Revision Committee, implementing statutory and other changes to the By-Laws in 2019. Approved June 2019 by the Association’s Unit Owners. Chair, Ad Hoc Rules and Regulations Committee Updated, revised and organized the Association’s rules as well as added general information. Published in August 2018. Compliance Program Developed, with the By-Laws, Rules and Regulations Committee, a compliance process that created a Compliance Committee and procedures. Operational since October 2019. Orientation Program Formulated for newly elected and reelected District Representatives after the 2016 and 2018 District Elections. Delivered program in a half-day session attended by the full Board includ- ing Alternate District Representatives. Material was well received. Member, Communications Committee Appointed to this committee in 2018. Participated in the oversight of The Villager and the OV Website. Acted as proofreader for The Villager. With the assistance of The Villager Editor, initiated a campaign to promote the use of the electronic work order which is the Mainte- nance Department’s preferred means of receiving those requests. Community Institute Association Attended seminars to improve my knowledge of the State of Connecticut condominium statutes as well as legal issues affecting condominiums. OVCA Board Motion Book Categorized, in hard copy, the motions passed by the Board over the last twenty years. 170 Oronoque Lane Committee Successfully approached the OVCA President to join this committee. The Stratford Concerned Citizens Group was challenging the developers’ application for this property and 795 James Farm Road. Attended and spoke at various District Meetings during the winter of 2015-2016 to update and answer Oronoque resident questions and keep them informed about the Town of Stratford meetings on this zoning issue. Volunteered in 2014- early 2019 for weekly two-hour shift position.

Oronoque Background I moved to Oronoque Village in November of 2013. By attending OVCA meetings, I learned about the complexity of issues that come before the Board and that motivated me to become an active participant in Oronoque government and community organizations.

Oronoque Village Arts Guild Board

Elected to the Arts Guild Board in September of 2019. Participated in planning sessions for Guild events and in the development of an Arts Guild Welcome letter for new residents to promote activities and increase membership.

Fun Seekers Secretary:2017-December 2018

Responsible for Board Meeting Minutes and initiating contact with a welcome letter to new residents and thank you letters to guests with the goal of maximizing membership.

Alternate District SAC Representative

Served from 2018 to 2019, assisting with SAC events and the organization of District Meet-ings.
