I too bought some of those little plastic LED holders. However,
I discovered that once inplace, only top 10 of the LED was visible.
!nd I wanted to ta"e advantage of every bitof light that the LED
produces both from the side and from the tip. I#m well aware
thatmost of the light is seen from the tip of the LED. $ut there I%
some light bleed from thesides too.
%o I didn#t use #em on the non&conductive board. I DID use
them on the parabolic dishof the later model blin"ers. $ut I cut
the plastic side latches to allow me to push up theLED a bit more.
I also inserted a small piece of the board to "eep the LEDs pushed
up as well. I can send you pictures if you want to see what I
meant.
I used the non&conductive board because I was planning on
mounting the LEDs directlyto the board. 'he bare prongs would#ve
shorted out the LEDs if I had used regular board. (sing the
non&conductive gives me easier control of where and how I want
thecurrent to flow. !nd it was great building material too.

wire3 I suggest you choosecolors that Honda doesn#t use to ma"e it
easier to identify the LED system.-
If you want to be able to switch it on and off li"e my
set&up you#ll need a switch. +smallone-
Electrical heat&shrin" tubing to encase all the wires to
protect them from vibration andmoisture. +get either 45167 or 1527
tubing-
8onnectors for the terminals. +get a coupla 7three7 and 7four7
holed female terminalstoo.-
!nd don#t forget the two&part epo9y resin... +get the :0
second #fast&set7 stuff fromHome Depot...so you don#t have to
wait around so much for it to set-
