MVHS ARC Information The Mount Vernon High School Academic Reflection Center (ARC) will serve as an opportunity for students to reflect upon their academic progress, personal educational goals and consider the appropriate steps needed to help complete their academic goals. The expectation for appropriate behavior in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, indoor and outdoor athletic facilities as well as all other common areas to the MVHS will be communicated to students. Students will be reminded of and encouraged to consider the MVHS Student Code of Conduct while in the ARC. Students may be required to meet with teachers, security personnel, administration, clinical support staff, guidance, faculty and other staff in order to effectively communicate the expectations of the ARC and the overall Code of Conduct. ARC logs will be maintained in order to effectively guide and support students. Students in the ARC on multiple occasions can lead to further intervention strategies including but not limited to parent conferences, in-house suspension as well as out of school suspension.
