Welcome

Dear colleagues,On behalf of the Latin American Heart Rhythm Society (LAHRS) I would like to invite you to our 2nd Scientific Sessions that will be held on September 26-27, 2019 in the beautiful city of Guadalajara, Mexico.In this opportunity, LAHRS has joined the Mexican Society of Cardiac EP (SOMEEC) to organize the meeting and prepare a very comprehensive academic program of many relevant topics such as: AF detection and Stroke Prevention, Cardiovascular Risk Factors for AF, New Concepts in Myofiber Architecture Relative to Catheter Ablation of AF, New Approaches and Technologies to Improve the Results of AF Ablation, Risk Stratification for Sudden Cardiac Death, New Approaches and Techno-logies for Catheter Ablation of Ventricular Arrhythmias, Cardiovascular Imaging in EP, Pediatric EP, Transvenous Lead Extraction Techniques, and His Bundle Pacing, among others.We will have two Plenary Sessions concerning analysis, follow-up, and clinical implications of the latest and most important clinical trials in AF and Ventricular Arrhythmias. Additionally, live cases will be transmitted to demonstrate the optimal use of new technology and the latest approaches for interventional management of different arrhythmias. It is our aim to allow a great interaction with the audience.This academic program is still under development together with worldwide recognized internatio-nal experts in every topic including members of HRS, EHRA, and APHRS, as well as the most im-portant LATAM EP societies including SOMEEC, SADEC, SOBRAC, and the Colombian College of EP. Side by side with our Sessions will have a very nice commercial exhibition at the excellent facilities of the Hilton Guadalajara Midtown that will certainly offer a great experience to all our attendees. The commercial exhibition will allow the presentation of the latest technologies in stands and “te-chnical suites” that will enrich our learning experience.We look forward to seeing you all in Guadalajara!
