Intention and Motivation Description of situation concerning Land Readjustment in Europe:

- a very diffuse and terminologically confuse scene

- different urban and rural land readjustment tools

- additional complications regarding Land Consolidation

(on the one hand: only as a redesign of parcels, on the other hand: combined with a bundle of infrastructural measures)

Description of scientific or specific activities concerning Land Consolidation by

- FIG

- FAO

- some high schools, particularly in Germany and Netherlands

- Institutional INTERREG III C cooperation of some European agencies

Systematic survey of existing relevant Land Readjustment approaches in Europe

Comparative analysis and evaluation of these approaches

(probably: case studies and inclusion of external experts)

Modelling of an „Ideal Typically Land Readjustment Tool“
