Underwater World is one of the largest marine and freshwa-ter aquaria in Asia. Highlights include gigantic 15-meter long walk-through tunnel housing 500,000 litres of seawater and many big fishes and sea creatures such as sharks, stingrays, huge turtles. There is a spectacular “penguinarium” with an underwater tunnel for visitors to view swimming penguins. The Langkawi Crocodile Farm is located at Teluk Datai, ap-proximately 30 km away from Kuah Town. Spread over 20 acres of land, the farm houses more than 1,000 crocodiles and alligators. Different species of crocodiles are being kept in specific ponds, where visitors can have a thorough look at the crocodiles or catch the scheduled daily shows and hourly feeding.
