red Bull athlete and trial biker, Petr Kraus, was at Landmark Mall to promote this unique sport of trial biking among the Qatari youth.

Trial biking is a discipline of mountain biking in which the rider attempts to pass over obstacles, both natural and man-made, without once setting foot on the ground. It is an extreme test of a rider’s bike handling, balance and reflexes; all areas in which Kraus’ skill is unrivalled.

“I’m here to promote this challenging sport and Red Bull which is my main sponsor. I’ve been competing for them for the last 16 years and we’ve been filming a lot of video and taking photos. The one thing I like about performing is the appreciation I get and the look of enjoyment on the faces of a cheering crowd at the end of it. The youth in Qatar are very forthcoming and sport-loving. I found my visit here to be extremely fruitful and hope people will get interested in this sport.”

Q atar Stars League Management organized the ‘HH Heir Apparent Cup Trophy Tour’. It was a unique opportunity at Landmark Mall for

people to take pictures of the HA CUP Trophy from up close and speak exclusively to some of the Qatar Stars League’s Top Footballers who were there for autographs and interviews.

the draw on the E 300 Mercedes car took place on Wednesday, March 24th in the Mercedes showroom. Mr. Abdulla Al Kuwari, Head of the Consumer Protection Division, attended.

The winner is Mrs. Afraa Sakr Ahmad. She bought jewellery worth QR 200,000 approximately from Al Fardan Jewelry and had the chance to fill in the draw, on the last day of the coupons’ collection.

BCBG’s fall collection exhibit a range of flowy tops, gauzy cardigans, and draped dresses, seemingly geared towards the casual stylist who prefers

comfort over form fitted tailoring. While the greys, whites, and blacks dominate the collections dresses, geometric and blocked patterns along with pops of navy and pale yellow and the use of solid bright colours make them stand out.

On the runway are endless variations of a simple, sellable, and yes, chic idea: colour-blocked silks in clean geometric silhouettes layered with whisper-thin black knit tops.
