Lambina Hills Model Home Prototype
Medi-tuscan Style
The design of this home is decidedly Mediterranean with its arched openings. The use of stone and stone window-surrounds as well as, thelimited use of decorative banding makes for a more rustic Tuscan look. This model has a home movie theatre above the garage in the fronton the right.
The stone on the homes are both an ashlar pattern, and can be natural or cultured stone. I tend to prefer a "stacked stone" look. It is muchmore natural looking, like the home is actually built of stone, so it doesn't have that "cheap" veneer look.
The chimney on the left is real, on the right is decorative. Notice the round tapered Mediterranean columns flanking the arched covered
entry, and the transom window surrounding the front door. The front door is shown at 10' tall (for scale), an 8' door would also be fine. Theplate height for Master Bath and Bedroom (on the left) is at 14', most of the rest of the house is at 12', from finished floor. This gives it theneeded room for nice ceiling treatments, arched openings and windows. (See the dashed lines on the floor plans to indicate archedopenings.)
The quatrefoil shaped wall in front of the Master on the left, provides privacy for the Bath, while creating a garden space. (See the floor plan).The Balcony off of the Bonus/Theatre, overlooking the Motor Courtyard, can be seen peeking above the left side Garage roof line.

This floor-plan is for the single story :medi-Tuscan style model home. The footprint and planarea, are listed on the plan.
This floor-plan has an open Great-room design,which is very popular in resort style communities.Generous kitchen with Island, a separatebreakfast and informal dining area, as well as, aformal Dining Room.
The Master Bedroom has a fireplace, a MorningKitchen, ample closets, barrel vaulted ceilings atthe double door entry and a luxurious bathroom.The Study is convenient to the Master Bedroom,with a view of the front courtyard, and can beaccessible to the Great Room with the flexibility ofpocketing doors.
Each Bedroom has a full Bath, with Bedroom 2having a Cabana Bath that doubles as aconvenient pool Bath. There is also a PowderBath for guests. There are two Covered Patioareas, off of the Master, and Bedroom 2. (I did not
want to block the Sun by covering the entire reardeck.)
The Maids Room near the Laundry with aseparate covered entry, that does not require themaid to come in thru the Garage.
