A big thank you to all the parents and grandparents that came for our annual Grandparents day on Wednesday. The classrooms were full of interested grandparents who were joining in with the students learning. We then all enjoyed a delicious morning tea that was provided by the students. It was great to hear the conversations about what school used to be like and the memories some grandparents had of our school from when they attended Lake Cargelligo Central School. Congratulations to the Year 5 students who presented their Captain nominee speeches on Wednesday afternoon. Zarlia Norris, Charlotte Richards, Taiha Van Dyk, Billy Limbrick, Samuel Chamen and Lachlan McFadyen had the topic “What makes a strong Leader”. They all spoke extremely well and gave us lots to think about when voting took place later on. The Primary School Captains for 2017 will be announced next week at

Term 4 - Week 4 / Week A

It is the end of Week 4 and the year is flying fast.

This week I attended an Early Action for Success

conference in Sydney with Mrs Simmons. We were

Kids Speak

“Everyone look at that!” I screamed. I was so shocked that I dropped my ice-cream. Someone was riding a kangaroo. The kangaroo was going at a very high speed and the man fell off. He came crashing down the road. His heart was beating so fast so I called an ambulance. His legs could not move. The ambulance took a long, long time. By Tahnee Davis
