CLIFF NOTES
Precocious: This Brad Cox-trainee made five starts in her 2-
year-old campaign and displayed early talent to go on and win 3 of the 5 starts. A debut winner by 3 ¼ lengths at Churchill Downs in June, she also added an Allowance win and a Stakes win going 2-turns to her impressive freshman year record.
Versatile: LADY O’TOOLE broke her maiden on debut going 5 ½ furlongs
on the dirt at Churchill Downs in June. She followed up this effort with an Allowance win in her 3rd lifetime start. She later showed her versatility and dual-surface talent to win a Stake going two-turns on the turf.
Stakes Winner: In her first start on the turf, LADY O’TOOLE dominated a Stakes field to win the Happy Ticket Stakes by 3 ½ lengths. Stalking the pace, she made her move heading into the stretch and easily drew away from her competition.
Pedigree: LADY O’TOOLE is out of the WinStar Farm-bred O’TOOLE
(Distorted Humor), a full-sister to G3W and Stakes Producer WITTY and MGSP HELSINKI (3rd G1 Travers, G2 Brooklyn H.). This deep family has produced 27 Black Type performers including 8 individual Graded Stakes Winners/8 Stakes Winners. Her page also sports two Grade 1 winners under the 2nd Dam:
KEY RACES TO WATCH
Pressing the pace four-wide around the turn, LADY O’TOOLE engaged her bid near the 1/8th pole about two lengths off the leaders. She handily made up ground and drew away under steady urging to win by 1 ½ lengths.

Bumped at the start, LADY O’TOOLE was shuffled back and tracked the field from 2nd last. She engaged with the field heading into the far turn and very professionally made a bid up the rail to cut the corner and surged to the lead in the stretch.
LADY O’TOOLE made her turf and two-turn debut on Super Derby Day at Louisiana Downs. Breaking from the 2-hole, she secured a good, ground saving trip sitting about 3 lengths off of the leader in 4th but was forced to angle outside horses around the turn. Once outside, she easily took the lead, drawing away in the stretch to win by 3 ½ lengths.

LADY O’TOOLE showed early speed to win on debut going 5 ½ furlongs on the dirt and the versatility to stretch out around two-turns, winning a Stake on the turf. Her obvious, dual-surface talent comes as no surprise as she hails from a family of 27 Black Type performers including track record setters MG1W WELL ARMED and G1W AMERICAN PATRIOT.
When brought back for her 2018 season LADY O’TOOLE unfortunately was plagued by an injury that prevented her from getting back to the races. However, she did more than enough on the track as a 2-year-old to warrant her retirement to a Broodmare band that is looking to add precocity and dual-surface ability.
