Labour welfare entitles all those activities of
employer, which are directed towards providing
the employees with certain facilities & services
in addition to wages or salaries
The welfare measures need not to benecessarily in monetary terms but in any form.
EXAMPLE : Working conditions, creation of
industrial harmony through infrastructure for
health, insurance against disease, accident &unemployment for the workers & their families
etc.

It varies from country to country with differentpolitical ideologies.
EXAMPLE :
1. SOCIALIST COUNTRIES, the goal is complete
protection to every citizen from birth to death.
2. NATIONS WITH LESS REGIMENTED
ECONOMIES, the goal is protection afforded to
