Advocacy Team?
The SHRM A-Team, made up of thousands
of HR professionals, is a critical part of
SHRM’s enhanced member advocacy
initiative, working to advance the interests
of the HR profession and communicate the
HR perspective on workplace issues in
Washington and state legislatures across
the country.
Two main levels of
involvement:
❶ HR Advocate
❷ Advocacy
Captain
To date, 7,880+ active SHRM members
444 Advocacy Captains designated across the
country in 50 states.
39 Captains in California, need only 14 more
