Spanning from Petone to Orongorongo in Lower Hutt, the 115km Rimutaka Cycle Trail serves up bush-clad hills, old rail tunnels, rivers, a big rocky coast and farm riding. Follow the Hutt River Trail with swimming holes and picnic spots along green city fringes. Cycle Rimutaka provides tour options, cycle hire and shuttles to the trail.
