I really appreciate all the information and great discussion. Thanks, Susan, for your great drawing and charts that well explained the organizational structure of the City of Oakland and the Energy/Utilities authority hierarchy in the US. That was very i f ti d ll i t d informative and very well appreciated.

To: Gil HayesG H yRecall that several months ago you generously loaned us a portable hard drive loaded with the City of Oakland’s Monument Cards. The idea behind this sharing of i f ti th t dd th d i t Sinformation was that we add these records into our Survey Monument Preservation application where they would be available on-line together with all of the rest of the other records that the system would eventually contain. , I’d like to write an e-mail to the City Engineer and/or Public Works Director expressing our appreciation.D p g pp

To: John McCabe
Dear John,
Sincerely
I keep thinking how great a job you have done with this upgrade in Cityworks. You have pulled off a major achievement, with very little fanfare, but it is truly tremendous. I can only imagine how many details and tweaks and finesses you have had to manage for it ll t l k thi th f th id ! It h l h tit all to look this smooth from the side! It shows also how great your new team is, and how much many others, including the users, have done in partnership with you - but again, it is your leadership that has made the success that we all benefit from.
