The product captured the imagination of the market with the new positioning of Air-Coolers that looked like Air -Conditioners with much lower procurement and running costs.

Market expanded quickly.

Base product price shot up from Rs2500/- to Rs6000/- within 3 years.

The company grew sixty times in 3 years on one product offering. Production touched 100,000 pieces in one season.

Big players enter the fray. They had to copy our product including all mistakes as there was no similar offering from any other country.

Started off as a Cost Reduction exercise. Existing product was priced at Rs12000/-. The company wanted a product at Rs5000/- to enter household segments.

Our studies showed costs could come down if the market could grow about ten times. We found many segments could not use the product as they did not have running water or drainage facilities etc.

We designed a product that could transform with minimal changes to suit every market niche and also simplified its use and maintenance.

We achieved a product cost of Rs6000/- without changing technical specifications and Rs4500/- with new specifications.
