OUR STORY
God has graciously
revealed the gospel to
me all my lie. My parents
were aithul in opening
God’s word to me with
every opportunity theycould. I grew up saturated with the truth and
saw it genuinely lived out in my godly parents and in the
godly individuals they kept me in contact with. Sadly, I
used those reedoms as an occasion or the fesh. Though
I had made a proession o belie in the gospel at a young
age, my early memories o a spiritual lie were morality
or the sake o manipulation and attention. As I grew into
high school and began to read and apply the Bible to my
heart, I saw my frst glimpses o genuine consistent
growth at the heart level. God’s gracious humbling
o my heart continued while serving on the leadership
team at Northland Camp or our summers. I received aministry degree rom Bob Jones University, and Beth
and I met and were married while we were there. God has
allowed me to serve in my ormer youth pastor’s church,
Oak Ridge Baptist in Oak Ridge, TN or the last 8
years. My primary responsibilities are leading the student
ministry and the music and worship. I have allen in love
with local church ministry. I love studying the scripture
and boldly proclaiming what God has shown me. I love
expending mysel in my church. I love leading a body o
believers to seeing and savoring God through song. I love
watching God take an individual to another spiri tual step.
I love seeing ruit come rom a gospel project or conver-sation. I can do nothing else with my lie.
Our amily has given our ree time to ministry media
work, children’s discipleship and community involve-
ment. I serve on the board or Kids4Truth, and Beth
serves on the board or a crisis pregnancy center. Over
the last year, God has grabbed us with the burden to
plant new gospel works in the cities o America. Bth

You are our let ter of recommendatIon,
written on our hearts, to be known and read by all...
you show that you are a letter from Christ delivered by
us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living
God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human
hearts. (2 Cor. 3:2-3)
tom craIG, SenIor PaStor at orBc “We appreci-
ate Jon and Beth so much for their vibrant spirit, en-
couraging ministry, desirable examples, tireless work ethic and the lifelong impact they have had on all of us
at Oak Ridge Baptist. We are excited to support God’s
ministry with them at Gospel Grace Church in Utah.”
roB GIllen, dIScIPled at orBc “God has used
Jon and Beth greatly in our lives over the last 5 years.
We have seen them grow, seen them serve, seen them
struggle, and seen them minister to those facing trials
of their own. They do all this with a genuineness and
openness that is both refreshing and challenging. We
are excited to see how God chooses to use them as
they take this next step in fullling the ministry He has
for them.
daVId mee, deacon at orBc “Jon has had a signi-
cant ministry to my children over the past eight years
by encouraging them to walk with God, in praying for
them and in giving them counsel in future ministry. He
has given me very wise counsel in times when I was
unsure in how to lead. Pastor Jon has a heart to follow
God.”
SteVe PettIt, eVanGelISt “It has been my privi-
lege to know and observe the lives of Jon and Beth
for many years. I have watched them faithfully servethe Lord through the ministries of Oak Ridge Baptist
and Northland Camp. I believe they are some of God’s
choice servants who are worthy of our support as they
give themselves to plant churches in Salt Lake City.”

PLANT4THEGOSPEL PROMOTES THE
CREATION OF HEALTHY CHURCHES IN
STRATEGIC METROPOLITAN AREAS.
By God’s grace our amilies are partnering with indi-
viduals and churches to raise monthly support. This
will allow our team to ocus as a team on planting new
church-planting churches in Salt Lake City, UT that centeron genuine worship, intentional relational evangelism,
gospel-centered discipleship and community, and pur-
posed multiplication.
A NEEDY CITY. A RIPE HARVEST.O the 2.6 million in Utah, over 2 million livewithin one hour o downtown Salt LakeCity.
The region has the youngest population, thehighest birthrate, the most educated adultworkorce, and the lowest number o gospel preaching churches per person o any state in the country.
Gospel luminance in the city is just1 evangelical church or every 10,000 people.
“Only” 45% o Salt Lakers claim to be connectedto the LDS church. Many think it is higher.

Current statistics show that there are more than400,000 ligisly “nclimd” ppl in Sltk ity.
HOW THE TEAM CAME TOGETHER.Over the last year, God has been moving individually
and yet similarly in all our o our amilies. He began
poking at our comort zones and working on our hearts
about steps o aith. We have been serving in our cur-
rent ministries or the last 7-10 years. Through dierent
riends and ministry connections, we began to talk and
pray about mission-minded church planting. We took a
survey trip together to Salt Lake City, and God ignited
incredible unity o vision and mission in our hearts!
We believe that God has brought us all together “or
such a time as this.” The more we have sought God’s will,
the more we believe that we must take what God has
taught us over the last decade and share it with people
who do not have access to it.
GIVING WILL ENABLE
GOSPEL WORK.We operate by aith, depending on God to work in the
hearts o His people to meet our needs and help us to
begin this aith endeavor. Your giving rees us to take
the Gospel quickly and directly to Salt Lake City to
the praise o Christ’s name and the advancement o His
kingdom.
