Pattern for 2 inches, ending with a RS row. Work in st st (the first row will be a WS or purl row) until the front measures 11.5 (12.5, 14) inches from CO edge, ending with a WS row. Shape Shoulders & Neck K16 (17, 18) sts, BO 12 (13,14) sts, K16 (17, 18) sts. Working just the right shoulder, purl to neck. Turn and BO 2, knit to end of row. P12 (13, 14), p2tog. Knit one row then place the remaining 13 (14, 15) sts on a st holder to join to front later. Join yarn to left shoulder on neck edge, BO 2, purl to end of row. Knit to last 2 sts, k2tog, Purl one row. Knit one row then place the remaining 13 (14, 15) sts on a st holder to join to front later. Sleeves (make 2) CO 35 (35, 39). Work in 1x1 Rib pattern for 2 inches. At the same time inc 1 on each end every 10 rows 3 (1, 0) times, then every 12 rows 1 (3, 2) times, then every 14 rows 0 (0, 2) times. 43 (43, 47) sts. Work even until sleeve measures 7 (8.5, 9.5) inches. BO. Finishing Join right shoulders using a 3 needle BO. With left front button band on top of left back button band, baste together along arm edge only. Center the sleeves on each side and sew to sweater. Sew arm and side seams. Neck Band Beg at left front button band, pick up 61 (65, 69) sts around neck. Work row 1 of 1x1 Rib pattern for 1”.
