ABOUT ECE DEPARTMENT

CMR Educational Society (CMRES) was established in the year 2001 under the dynamic leadership of Sri.Ch.Malla Reddy, who has been in the field of education for last 25 years with the aim of spreading quality education in various fields of science & technology. The Malla Reddy Group of Institutions (MRGI) were started in Maisammaguda campus, and now it has become a mojor learning centre with 14 institutions offering almost all major branches of Engineering, Management, Pharmacy and MCA. Malla Reddy Health City has been established at Suraram X roads. Two hospitals, one medical college and dental college were started from the academic year 2012-13. An approval for Malla Reddy Medical College for Women from MCI is awaited.

Malla Reddy Engineering College (MREC) was started in the year 2002 under the Chairmanship of Sri.Ch.Malla Reddy who has vast experience in providing high quality technical education, on par with illustrious Institutions like University Engineering Colleges in the Country. MREC was started with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to JNTUH, Hyderabad. The college is situated in a serene, lush green environment on Kompally- Bahadhurpally Road, opposite to A.P Forest academy, R.R.District.

MREC is now an accredited institution by NBA & NAAC with 'A' Grade. The Institution has high quality infrastructure and well developed laboratories in all departments. The college achieved autonomous status under JNTUH w.e.f 2011-12. MREC Professional Education forms the first and foremost foundation for the students to achieve higher goals in life and covering various streams of Engineering and Technology, Management, Medicine and Pharmacy.

Dr.S.Sudhakara Reddy is the Principal of MREC. He has rich teaching and industrial experience of almost three decades.

The department of Electronics & Communication Engineering has been established since the inception of the institution in the year 2002. The department has good infrastructure facilities and is equipped with full-fledged laboratories like EDC, DSP, MW, ECAD, VLSI etc. to fulfill the curriculum needs. The ECE labs focus on the development of consumer and industrial products in Electronics and Communications areas. The department is having well number of experienced faculty. The department has it's own library and computing facilities with more than 200 computers with latest configuration to carry out various purposes like project works, seminars, workshops, software simulation etc..

The National Conference on “Advances in Communications and Electrical Engineering - NCACEE 2K13” will be held from
