    1.0 INTRODUCTION

    This document is submitted to Gas Malaysia Bhd (GMB) for reviewal and to obtain approval from

    GMB to undertake the work of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) for back-reaming and pipe-pulling

    for the Gas Pipeline Construction at Kuala Lumpur FL Stage 1/15 (Sunway Velocity).

    1.1 BRIEF OF WORK

    The work involves the proposed HDD for NPS 8" steel feeder line CH 665.00 to CH821.00.

    1.2 BRIEF OF SUBMISSION

    This submission briefly outline the following:

    i. Proposed Piloting Record

    ii. Proposed Piloting Profile Data

    iii. Proposed Curvature Data

    iv. Calculationsv. Proposed Profile Drawing

    The objective of this submission is to:

    i. Obtain approval from GMB for back-reaming and pipe-pulling work based on the GMB

    approved HDD piloting profile submission.

    ii. Calculate and analyse the proposed Maximum Depth, Dmax1 and max2 and Minimum Horizontal

    Length, L1 and 2 based on the proposed piloting profile and shall conform to GMB acceptance

    criteria.

    The acceptance criteria of the proposed piloting profile shall conform to the followings:

    i. The proposed Maximum Depth, Dmax1 and max2 shall less than the GMB Maximum Depth,

    Dmax1GMB and Max2GMB based on the GMB Minimum Bending Radius, RGMB.

    ii. The proposed Minimum Horizontal Length, L1 and 2 shall more than the GMB Minimum

    Horizontal Length, Lmin1GMB and min2GMB.
