PROGRAM AGENDA KITCHENER ELITE SUMMER CAMP
KITCHENER CAMP
OVERVIEW
This elite Camp covers all the skills needed to become an excellent skater and stickhandler. This camp will focus on
high intensity drills needed to improve skating, puck control and stickhandling techniques in order to develop maximum efficiency, agility, dexterity, power, acceleration and speed
with the skates and stick. The camp will also feature an off ice program and a daily group stretch .We work at a high tempo,
making this camp only available to the elite player.

Head InstructorDaniel Bochner

Daniel Bochner has spent the last 3 seasons playing professional hockey in Europe ( France , Serbia, Finland ).
Prior to his Professional career Daniel spent 5 years playing Junior Hockey in Canada . Daniel has also played in 12 IIHF
World Championships and the prestigious Spartak Cup Tournament in Moscow, Russia collecting a total of 4 IIHF
Medals along the way ( 1 Gold , 1 Silver , & 2 Bronze ) . Daniel brings a wealth of international experience having
played , instructed or coached in over 17 country's worldwide . Daniel has been with Pro Hockey for the past 13
years starting as a student moving to instructor and now as Director of On Ice Development .

Camp ProgramMonday
1st Hour - Advanced European Skating Techniques
This program is designed to develop the students overall skating ability . We will work at a high tempo putting emphasis on edge work, agility, dexterity, advanced turns and pivots, balance and coordination, forward and backward skating, and stride development .
2nd Hour - Dynamic Puck Control
This hour is designed to help the student achieve more confidence with the puck . We will incorporate advanced skating techniques into this program making it even more challenging for the student . The student will learn to handle the puck in a variety of complex ways.
3rd Hour - Advanced Backward Skating
This hour has been designed to enhance the level of the players backwards skating . Advanced backwards crossovers and edge work will be utilized during this training session. Students will work with and without the puck.

Tuesday
1st Hour - 2 Stick Program
Space and time is a luxury at the early stages of the game . As the student grows and moves up the hockey ladder he/she must learn to utilize space and time more efficiently . This program will teach the student how to perform at a higher level within a confined space.
2nd Hour - Stations
Various work stations focusing on skating, puck protection, shooting, and stick handling will be set up on the ice. Student will work in small groups within the stations at a high intensity level for 30 seconds at a time. Students will run through all the work stations.
3rd Hour - Puck Protection
Students will work with a partner on puck protection and body contact . This hour will help the students confidence in high traffic areas, battle situations and one on one combative situations .

Wednesday
1st Hour - Advanced Crossovers Program
Students will learn a variety of crossover techniques with and without the puck .
2nd Hour - Dynamic Puck Control
This hour is designed to help the student achieve more confidence with the puck . We will incorporate advanced skating techniques into this program making it even more challenging for the student . The student will learn to handle the puck in a variety of complex ways.
3rd Hour - High Intensity Passing Drills
Players will work with a partner on advanced passing techniques . These drills will push the students endurance, agility , and hand eye coordination to new limits .

Thursday
1st Hour - Advanced Backward Skating
This hour has been designed to enhance the level of the players backwards skating . Advanced backwards crossovers and edge work will be utilized during this training session. Students will work with and without the puck.
2nd Hour - Stationary Puck Control
Students will train within a confined space working on puck control and lower and upper body mobility .
3rd Hour - Mini Games
This hour will test the students ability to win battles and fight off the check . The hour will be broken down into a variety of mini games .

Friday
1st hour - Stations
Various work stations focusing on skating, puck protection, shooting, and stick handling will be set up on the ice. Student will work in small groups within the stations at a high intensity level for 30 seconds at a time. Students will run through all the work stations
2nd Hour - Stick Handling With Emphasis On Lateral Movement
Students will work on elite stick handling exercises incorporating lateral movement into all drills . This hour will increase the students capabilities in the area of upper and lower body coordination .
3rd Hour - Scrimmage
Students will be asked to apply skills and techniques learned during the week in 5 on 5 , 4 on 4 , and 3 on 3 game situations .

Monday - Friday ( 9-10AM Dry-land &11-2PM On Ice )
20 hours of elite training ( 15 Hour on ice & 5 Hours off ice )
Camp Jersey
30 Players Maximum
Camp will be held at Hespler Memorial Arena (640 Ellis Road W)
