A professional overview

There is no doubt that the Kinross market has experienced a vibrant first quarter.

Competitive buying conditions, higher selling prices and properties changing hands very quickly have ensured many happy buyers and sellers in the area.

Traditionally the market slows down during winter but with current conditions we expect it to remain buoyant in the next quarter.

The reduced interest rates have resulted in more first-time home buyers as well as investors entering the market. Demand is also being driven by the high price of rentals in Perth and we have seen an increase in multiple offers on properties resulting in higher prices.

A sense of confidence amongst buyers is also emerging on the “Home Open” front. All of these indicators suggest a relatively healthy market.

Our advice in today’s market is:

1. Capitalise on the decreased number of homes competing for a sale.

2. Be informed about positioning your property to sell.

3. Ask about the importance of utilizing a marketing strategy to achieve the best sale price.
