MELVAN DANCERS
Dance classes which include tap, jazz, ballet, neo/lyrical, contemporary, dance acrobatics are held in the gym at Kings Park
Primary on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays. Competition and Exam work is available for those who wish to participate.

LATE ARRIVALS TO SCHOOL
Children are required to be at school by 8:55a.m. so that they are in the classroom at 9:00a.m.. Children who are late are
required to come passed the office to collect a late pass. If the child is coming to school very late then we require a parent to
walk them in to the office.. Being late disrupts the class and the child misses out on valuable learning time.
BIRTHDAY CAKES
If you are bring a birthday cake for your child it must be purchased from a shop and have the ingredients on the packaging so
that we can monitor allergies in the classroom.. Lolly bags will not be handed out to students until they have been dismissed.
CSEF GRANT
If you are on a Health Care Card or Pension Card and you have not yet claimed for the Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund
Grant could you please do so as soon as possible. You maybe paying for excursions that you don’t need to pay as this fund
pays for excursions, and incursions that the children attend through the 2016 year. If you claimed last year and your card is
still current you must re-apply for 2016 as you will receive another $125.00 for this year which will be added to the
remainder of the 2015 grant. You do need to re-apply each year.
