We carry local products on many of our shelves and work with over 100 local producers in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Our commitment to local producers reaches beyond our shelves. We define local as being within 100 miles of our distribution center in Downingtown. This central location helps our local vendors increase their reach while minimizing their carbon footprint and distribution costs. We also support local producers who use more regional distribution companies to get their products to our shelves. We hope that you will join us in our mission to support local farmers and producers in the Greater Philadelphia Area.

Ingredients:1/3 cup chilled R.W. Knudsen Organic Just Cranberry Juice1/3 cup chilled R.W. Knudsen Organic Just Pomegranate Juice1/3 cup Seven Stars Maple Yogurt1 cup fresh or frozen blueberriesAdd a small handful of your favorite greens for extra nutrients

Directions:Combine juices, yogurt, and blueberries in blender container. Cover and process to desired consistency.

Enhance your smoothie with greens, protein powder, chia seeds, ground � ax seeds or sesame seeds.

Coconut Oil (melted)1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

INSTRUCTIONS

In a large bowl, mix together dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, whisk together wet ingredients. Add wet to dry and mix until completely coated. Place mixture on a sheet pan and cover with parchment paper. Press down very firmly and evenly. Place in the refrigerator for at least an hour or until firm, then cut into bars. Makes approximately 2 dozen bars.

Cascadian FarmOrganic Cereal

Directions:Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, but not mushy. Drain well. While potatoes are cooking prepare the fennel. Trim off the root end and the top with stalks. Reserve the tops. Cut the fennel in half, lengthwise. Remove the center core. Cut each half lengthwise into thin slices—about 1/4". Place the drained potatoes and half of the sliced fennel in a medium bowl (reserve the other half of the sliced fennel). Trim the wispy fronds from the fennel. Mince and set aside. Discard the stalks. In a small bowl, use a whisk to combine the mayonnaise, oil, juices, agave, garlic and pepper. Mix well. Pour 1/2 over the potatoes and fennel (Reserve the other half of the dressing). Mix gently. Chill. Heat the burgers on a skillet or in the oven until they are hot. Place microgreens and a bit of the reserved dressing on top of half of a sandwich � at. Next, place the burger. Top with sliced fennel and orange and lime zest.

Seven Stars Farm is a 350 acre certified Biodynamic dairy farm in northern Chester County, Pa. Using the milk from Jersey and Jersey crossed cows, the farm has been making high-quality yogurt since 1988. As a Biodynamic farm, they strive to be a self-sustaining mixed livestock farm to enhance the health of the farm and its products. Their cows receive a majority of their diet directly from pasture and are kept in a clean, comfortable environment where they are free to move about as seasonably permissible. Live cultures and organic ingredients like maple syrup and vanilla extract are the only additions to the un-homogenized, pasteurized milk used to make their yogurt.

Seven Stars Farm is especially important to Kimberton Whole Foods. Over two decades ago, our founder, Terry Brett, started a yogurt program at the farm to utilize all of the milk produced by their herd, and his wife, Pat, opened a farm stand where they could sell the yogurt. That farm stand grew to become the original Kimberton Whole Foods store.
