KIDDO STATION 2013“Kiddo Station 2013 – Best Stop of the Journey”; a 3-day carnival designed exclusively for childrenKiddo Station 2013 is a unique initiative that aims to provide kids with fun-filled activities using an informative and educational approach. This event will be held in December 2013, at the YMCA grounds, Nandanam, Chennai. The carnival will include the participation of various well-known brands from the country and different parts of the world, as well as numerous games, activities, workshops, and competitions for children aged 3 to 12 years as well as their parents.Highlights of the event include:Performances by professionals from the music, theatre, and dance industries among other forms of entertainment

Workshops on life lessons, arts & crafts, music, dance, and theatre specially designed for children

Fun activities for parents and kids together Stalls by various toy brands, educational brands, publishing houses,

clothing brands, food brands, etc.

Why target kids?Kids have a huge influence on their parents' purchasing decisions. According to statistics found in 2008, they influence breakfast choices 97% of the time; clothing purchases 95% of the time; and family entertainment choices and family trips 98% and 94% of the time respectively. This influence has increased over the years and still continues to do so. As a result, the expenditure of advertising on children has increased by leaps and bounds. Children today have easier access to gaining information and are thus aware of various products available to them. This event aims to facilitate sale of such products by promoting brands that target children through innovative and interactive methods.
