SYNOPSIS – KINGDOM COME

A group of strangers awake, trapped inside an old abandoned mental hospital. With no apparent way out and no one being able to remember how they even got there, they begin searching for a way to escape. As they explore the cold, dark maze of corridors, they realize they are not alone and that they are being stalked by supernatural forces with sinister intentions.

For Sam (Ry Barrett) and Jessica (Camille Hollett-French), keeping Celia (Ellie O'Brien), the youngest member, safe proves to be just as difficult as keeping the group together as hostilities grow between them. Everyone begins to question each other's motives as secrets linking their pasts are revealed and someone within the group is not who they say they are. One by one they begin to disappear; all that is left behind to be found by the others is the devastation and carnage of their demise.

As everything and everyone unravels, they start to understand that all the windows that have been boarded up from the inside are not so much there to keep them in, but to keep whatever evil lurks outside…out. In this place nothing is as it seems, and the decisions they make here will seal their fate forever.

Ryan Barrett – “Sam”

Ryan began his career as the one-liner spouting, lead character in the 2004 horror/comedy 'Desperate Souls', and has continued with a steady incline o f intriguing roles ever since. He followed up in the Troma release 'Kill', and a role in the Lions Gate/Maple release 'Psycho Ward'. Barrett went on to star as the lead character in the psychological thriller 'Neverlost', a role he received critical commendation for, as well as a 2011 Toronto International Film and Video Award (TIFVA) for Best Actor in a Feature. He has played a variety o f roles demonstrating his dynamic range as an actor, from an optimistic but vulnerable jock in the thriller, 'I Choose Chaos' ; the iconic Stephen King character, Ace Merrill in the adaptation 'Love Never Dies', a talking newlywed zombie in the zombie comedy 'The Post-Lifers', to a disconnected rebel fighting zombies in Reese Eveneshen's 'Dead Genesis', to name a few.

Camille Hollett-French – “Jessica”

Born in Montreal, Camille grew up in Brampton, Ontario and later made the move to Toronto. A self proclaimed film nerd, Camille caught the acting bug landing parts in the short films ‘The Deranged President’ and ‘Making “The Domino Effect”’.

Jason Martorino – “Daniel”

Jason is a Toronto-based actor and singer. Jason currently plays the lead character of Charlie Porter in the ongoing sci-fi web series, Posthuman. He has also been in a number of independent films, commercials and stage/theatre productions.

Ellie O’Brien – “Ceilia”

The oldest o f 5 siblings, Ellie (age 10) and her family recently moved from Scotland to Toronto, Ontario. At the tender age of four, Ellie knew she wanted to be an actress. Having a phenomenal memory for lines and the ambition to be on-camera, Ellie asked her parents to help her achieve her goal and away they went. With a number o f commercials under her belt, this is Ellie’s debut feature film. In her free time Ellie enjoys singing and reading.

William Foley - “Charles”

With close to 20 years as a pro fessional actor William has acted on stages, in gymnasiums, parks, country clubs and even in a tavern or two all over Canada. A steadfast devotee o f whim and circumstance, William has enjoyed bumping back and forth in pinballish fashion and has lived in many odd corners o f our beauti ful country including the hull o f a tug-boat in the north Paci fic. William is co-writer/creator o f the recent hit 'Robin Hood: The Legendary Musical Comedy' at Hart House Theatre.

Saroush Saeidi – “Nadir”

Soroush is an actor who hails from the UK. He has trained all over the world perfecting his cra ft in places like L.A., London, and even Dubai. Soroush believes that acting is an art where the ac tor does not simply portray a character, but where one becomes the character, walking in their shoes and feeling what they feel. Soroush has been in a number of fi lms and held guest spots on ‘The Order o f Things’, ‘Curious and Unusal Deaths’, ‘Nikita’ and ‘The Road to Prophet’ which is currently in post-production.

Jojo Kharume – “Roger”

Jojo is a Toronto actor and one hal f o f the Toronto-based HipHop group TYMEPEACE. He is also the Director o f Solid Water Music and Film.

Katie Uhlmann – “Rachel”

Katie attended Lakefield College School in Lakefield, Ontario. She is a graduate o f the Drama Program at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario and she has studied Entertainment and Media Management at UCLA in LA. While in LA Katie also studied under Aaron Speiser (acting coach to Will Smith, Mandy Moore, Jenni fer Lopez, ect...) at his studio. Katie has also studied at "Improv for Actors" at "Second City" and at David Rotenberg's School in Toronto..

Chelsey Marie – “Victoria”

Chelsey Marie grew up in the small town o f Georgetown Ontario where she did theatre and dreamed o f living in a big city. The opportunity came when she was o f fered a scholarship to the New York Film Academy. Chelsey has since been on TV and in 2013 was in two feature films. Chelsey has studied under Ron Leach, David Rotenberg and Shawn Lawrence.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKERS

Greg A. Sager – Producer/Director/Writer/Editor (Matchbox Pictures)

With over 15 years’ experience in film and television working with industry professionals, Greg A. Sager has had the opportunity to be a part of a wide range of projects, including television commercials, features, short films, corporate, infomercials and music videos for such companies as Rogers Television, Norstar Entertainment, CBC, Sommerville Entertainment and Omni Television. Predominately a writer and director, he has also assumed additional roles which have expanded his skills in various productions as producer, production manager, camera operator and editor. Kingdom Come is Greg’s second feature after his debut film “Devil Seed” released in over 50 countries around the world.

Gary Elmer – Producer / Director of Photography (Matchbox Pictures)

Gary Elmer has filmed in every province and territory in Canada, as well as over 20 countries worldwide. As an award winning Cinematographer, he has vast experience in film and HD production on a wide range of projects including but not limited to commercials, documentaries, research, corporate, infomercials, dramatic and music videos. He began his career at CBC, and developed as an independent cinematographer and camera operator. He has worked with prominent production companies such as Discovery Channel, OLN, CBC and Global to mention a few. Mr. Elmer has been the recipient of numerous awards, inc luding a Gemini nomination for best photography in a documentary.

Dwight Coughlan - Producer (Matchbox Pictures)

With twenty years independent production experience, Dwight Coughlan has a thorough knowledge of the production industry and a keen interest in the latest developments in digital media. Prior to the founding of CIVA in 1995, Mr. Coughlan worked as a producer with one of Canada's largest banks. His keen interest in the video production world has allowed Dwight to travel to international and national locations working with many fortune 500 companies. With numerous Broadcast and Corporate awards, Dwight’s attention to details will make “KINGDOM COME” another award winning production.

Robbin M. McDonnell – Producer / Production Manager

With over 10 years in the Sales and Marketing industry, Robbin found her way to Matchbox due to the strong people and the organization. In her 6 years with the company, she has developed a passion for the industry and production management. She has been involved in numerous projects, including the Ambassador London Program, AODA, Woodstock Economic Development, Tonand, Dovetail, the London Travel and Tourism video. With Already 2 Feature films under her Belt, Willfi l l Entrapment and her recent success, Devil Seed. Her efforts in managing “KINGDOM COME” will go a long way to ensuring its success.
