TECHNO WINGS MONO PULVERIZER

Our range of mono pulverizer is durable in quality and is use for grinding different types of spices, salt, coffee, sugar, fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, tobacco, leaves, oil cake, cattle and poultry feeds and many other food products. These machines are widely demanded by clients and have superior characteristics that include:

Pulverizer's operation

The flow of material from the Feeding Hopper is regulating by means of a Vertical Adjustable Slide to suit the load. Rotor with four beaters runs in anti-clockwise direction. The swinging beaters pass just beneath the Ratchet Teeth Liner fitted inside the top half of the crushing chamber, leaving a gap of 1/8" between the liner teeth and the tips of the rotating beaters. This cuts the material caught between the liner teeth like a sword with a scissors action at a high speed of 2880 rotations per minute.

After the required size reduction, the material will pass through the screen fitted inside the lower discharge end of the grinding chamber. No sieving is required, as the appropriate size screen fitted will not allow coarser material to pass through. The air generated in the crushing chamber forces the powder to pass through the screen fitted at the bottom discharge end of the crushing chamber, into a cotton bag attached to the delivery trough below. The dust is collect through the attached balloon fitted on the discharge end. The top closed end of the balloon may suspend from the roof or a wall of the building. Every half an hour, the balloon should be tap to knock down the dust clogging the pores of the balloon, thus releasing the pressure built-up. The dust falls in the bag below, and thus a dust free operation without wastage of product achieve. (When crushing Wet-Pulpy materials, the balloon should not be use)

Servicing Guidelines:

Open the cover of chamber all grinding parts clean with a brush in couple of minute and the pulverizer is ready for next grinding. If required, the grinding chamber can also be wash with water. Remove the cotton balloon and the screen, close the cover tightly and start the grinder. Now pour a bucket or two of water into the hopper. The grinding parts will be flushed with the water and cleaned. Continue running the machine for a few more minutes as the draft of the fresh air sucked into the grinder will dry it. When the beater worm out removing and reserved by removing the cur clip lock holding to the rotor pins. When both the edges are worm outs, they sharpened on an emery stone, to use as new. In addition, when completely warn out, replace the equal weight and refitted.

TECHNO WINGS MINI PULVERIZER WITH WATER CIRCULATING SYSTEM

Designed to give maximum output to our clients, our range of mini pulverizer with water circulating system is suitable for effective as well as continuous grinding. These machines have chamber, water chamber & outlet that help in avoiding joints for leakage of water as well as spreading of powder. These machines are use in grinding different kinds of spices, fresh ginger, salt, coffee, fruits, vegetables, herbs, roots, bark & leaves, cattle & poultry feeds, custard powder, food colors and various other products. TECHNO WINGS MULTI CHAMBER PULVERIZER

We offer our clients with multi chamber pulverizer that comes with a second chamber used for fine grinding. These machines do not have any separate joints between out late & crushing chamber. Our machine comes with back loading type system that helps in easy cleaning. The various features of our range of multi chamber pulverizes include-

Pulverizer's operation

TECHNO WINGS Double Stage Mills are the latest version of the TECHNO WINGS Mini Pulverizer. It provided with a Pre - crushing chamber where the material undergoes a coarse grinding and passes on to the fine powdering chamber. Therefore, we can feed the hard materials like turmeric directly for fine grinding in single feeding. This also gives more evenness for the spices powder. The operational life of the screens (sieves) in a double stage mill is about 20 times that of standard mini Pulverizer of the same capacity.

Pre- cutting chamber fixed on the hinges, which also act as door for fine crushing chamber. The center classifier sieve also taken out very easily by twisting from the lock bolt. The feeding of this machine is through the center of the back end. The crushing chamber and bearing blocks are made of high quality cast iron Bearings lubricated in oil.

Servicing Guidelines

Open the cover of chamber all grinding parts cleaned with a brush in couple of minute and the pulverizer is ready for next grinding. If required, the grinding chamber can also washed with water. Remove the cotton balloon and the screen, close the cover tightly and start the grinder. Now pour a bucket or two of water into the hopper. The grinding parts will be flushed with the water and cleaned. Continue running the machine for a few more minutes as the draft of the fresh air sucked into the grinder will dry it. The beater when worm out removed and reserved by removing the cur clip lock holding to the rotor pins. When both the edges are worm out, they sharpened on an emery stone, to use as new. In addition, when completely warn out, replaced the equal weight and refitted. Please check the oil level of oil bath chamber regularly.

OPERATION:

The TECHNO WINGS Impact Pulverizer consists of and encased rotor-carrying swing hammers, whizzed classifier for finesse regulation and pressure gradient creator mounted on a solid shaft. Raw material from the

feed hopper enters manually or automatically roll feeder and as the feeder and as the feeder pockets rotate spills into the grinding chamber. The impact to the hammers on the feed material against the liner plates reduces it into fine powder. The ground material carried towards the whizzed classifier for clarification and the finesse regulators (whizzed classifier) and returns to the grinding chamber for further grinding reject the oversize particles. Classified material then conveyed into the cyclone for collection and bagging. A dust collector provided in the system for ensuring dustless

operation and no loss of ground powder.

Hammer Mill's Operation

TECHNO WINGS PLATE MILL / DISC MILL / BURR MILL

Burr mills or crushers have two roughened cast iron plates. One plate is stationary and the other one rotates. Grain fed between the plates is crush and shear. Type and spacing of plates determines fineness of the feed. These mills are better adapted to grinding coarse grains than hammer mills. However, they will not handle high moisture grain satisfactorily because of low capacity.

Operating Principle of Burr Mill (Plate mill, Disc Mill): -

The Regulating Wheel is for distance between the plates to achieve the required fineness. On starting the mill, the Regulating Wheel should be turn clockwise until the plates just touch. The setting for the material being ground is then made by turning the wheel a few notches either way, because the wheels are being locked in this position by the click.

The Feed Control Screw is for regulating the rate of flow of material by adjusting the angle of the feed hopper. The ground material will vary with the feed rate as well as with the adjustment of the plates. If a fine ground material is, require a low feed rate should apply. The hand nut on the Feed Control Screw should lock with the wing nut after setting. If it is required to stop the Flow of material, the feed control screw can be lifted up and the cross pin engaged in the slot provided to hold it in the 'off' position.

Grinding Dry Material: Start the mill and adjust the Regulating Wheel until the plate’s just touch. Feed the material into the plates. After the required setting, close the plates two or three notches. Adjust the feed control until the required fineness obtained. If the sample is not fine enough, close the plates further two or

three notches. If the click holder, which caring the regulating wheel, opens away from the front, tighten the springs so that the click holder closes.

Important: Before closing the plates the material must be fed into the plates and the plates must be opened before shutting off the feed to prevent the plates being damaged by running together.

Kibbling: Start the mill and adjust the regulating wheel until the plates will just touch. Open the plates a few notches. Adjust the feed to give required fineness. A high output of kibbled material will obtain.

Grinding Wet Maize: Start the mill and adjust the Regulating Wheel until the plate’s just touch. Open the plates one or two notches. Adjust the feed to give required fineness.

Servicing Guidelines of Burr Mill (Plate mill, Disc Mill):-

Daily Lubrication:

• Use good quality clean lubricating oil. • Slide open top lid and check that bearings have sufficient oil and the rings are rotating on the shaft. Fill up if necessary and close the top lid. • Fill oil on the front and check that the wick is in the wick hole and is in the oil. • Fill oil well in the Jigger. • Oil other moving parts.

Bearings: Bearing housings are located on the frame by dowels and sealing is affect by rubber 'O' rings, which engage in grooves on spindle. The entry of the spindle into the box is seat in a similar manner.

Setting New Plates: To obtain the best results, care must be take, when fitting new plates or reversing the old ones. The Plates should touch all rounds in any spindle position. A piece of paper inserted between the plates can be use to check before fitting the front to the mill.

It is important that the spindle bearings be not move on the free frame as this may interfere with the plate settings.

No sieving is required, as the appropriate size screen fitted will not allow coarser material to pass through. The air generated in the crushing chamber forces the powder to pass through the screen fitted at the bottom discharge end of the crushing chamber, into a Filter attached to the delivery trough below. (When crushing Wet-Pulpy materials, the balloon should not be use)

JAS MINI DAL (PULSES) MILL

Construction

Jas Enterprises offer mini dhal mill. This mill is simple in construction and easy to operate & maintain. It consist of horizontal tapered roller is covered with emery coating, surrounded by a screen through which the husk is discharged. The shelled pulses passes through an aspirating fan on the oscillating sieve unit, where appropriate grading of pulses is done It is run on only 2 H.P. Automatic arrangement are made for collection of de husked and split pulses, un de husked and split pulses, un de husked pulses, brackens, husk in separate containers and bags. This machine offers dust free operation, does not cause pollution, retains proteins, natural shine etc… motor is provide with a pulley and is mount at the bottom of the stand with V-belt to drive it. The motor requirement is of 2 HP single / three phases.

Process

Process of de-husking is doing in two major steps. In the first step the cleaned and size graded grain are scarify followed by oil addition and sun/mechanical drying. In the second step, the removal of husk and splitting into two cotyledons is doing by passing the material through versatile pulse de-husker. This de-husker gives 2-4% higher yield of good quality Dal, than the traditional Dal mill.

This method developed by Jas Enterprises is less laborious, requires less time and reduces losses during de-husking.

One of these methods developed and ready for commercialization is 'MINI DAL MILL'. The technical up gradation & cost economics of the 'MINI DAL MILL’ combined with facilities of Grader cum Cleaner can prove to be a boon to the farmers. This unit installed near the farm itself.

Process on Dal mill

1. CLEANING AND GRADING:

This unit consists of a vibratory inclined sieve, hopper, grain collector, waste collector and motor. The vibratory sieves are providing with different size holes to match the requirements of the type of Dal being process. The vibrations are inducing by a cam-operated link, which is mounts on a motor driven shaft.

An emery roller machine is use to obtain cracking and scratching of clean pulses passing through it. For loosening, the husk to facilitate the subsequent oil penetration this is required. Gradually the clearance between the emery roller and cage (housing) is narrow from inlet to outlet. Cracking and scratching of husk takes place mainly by friction between pulses and emery as the material is passing through the narrowing clearance. During the operation, some of the pulses are de-husk and split which are separate by sieving.

3. PRETREATMENT WITH OIL & WATER:

A screw conveyor allows passing the scratched or pitted material through it and mixing of some edible oil like linseed oil is complete. The linseed oil is use at the rate of 1.5 to 2.5 kg/tones of pulses. These are keeping on floors for about 12 hours to diffuse the oil.

4. CONDITIONING

Pulses are condition by alternate wetting and drying. Moisture (3.5%) is adding to the pulses after sun drying for a certain period and tempering is doing for about eight hours. The grain is dry in the sun again. By allowing water to drop from an overhead tank on the pulses, which are passing through the screw conveyor addition of moisture to the pulses, are achieving. Until all pulses are sufficiently conditioned the whole process of alternate wetting and drying is continued for two to four days. Pulses are finally dry to about 10 to 12% moisture content.

5. DE-HUSKING AND SPLITTING:

For De-husking of conditioned pulses emery rollers called as Gota machine are used. In one pass or single operation, about 50% of pulses are de-husked. De-husked pulses are splitting into two parts. De-husked split pulses are separate by sieving and the husk is aspirate off. Un-split de-husked pulses and tail pulses are again de-husk and milled in a similar way. Until the running pulses are de-husked and split of the whole process is repeated two or three times.

PRE MILLING OF PULSES:

To obtain best results during de-husking and splitting of pulses in the pulse de husking machine in Jas brand mini Dal mills, latest model improved version, pre milling including grading of pulses size wise is very essential.

The raw pulses are first clean of dust, chaff, stones and other extraneous materials. Sieves grade cleaned pulses or pulses graded and soaked in water in cement’s tanks having 6” depth. Height of pulses soaked be 5” and the water level should be1” above the pulses.

Soak pulses are taken out of the water after specific time and put on the sieve. Swollen pulses which do not pass through sieve (from which un-swollen pulses earlier passed through the same) are ready for heaping in shade whereas the pulses which pass through the same sieves. Then these pulses are ready for heaping in shade. Degree of happing of swollen pulses in shade should be 30 to 40. This process should be continuing until the pulses are swill to the desired extent.

There after the pulse are in thin layers in the open sun drying. Duration of sun drying of pulses vary according to weather condition prevailing at the time of processing. After sun drying, the pulses are again heap in shade so moisture contents in the pulses may become uniform as need in them for de-husking. Then the pulse are graded again fed in to the pulse de husking machine in Jas Mini Dal Mill in graded lots to achieve he best results with minimum brokenness. Period of soaking in water will vary according to weather condition and quality of pulses. Duration of sun drying will vary according to weather condition. Pulses should not be warm at the time of De-husking/splitting. Pulses should be de-husk and split in graded lots only. Pulses shown at one & two must be dry within 3 days to get better results. Their processing in any season should be avoiding. The de-husked pulses mixed with the un-husked pulses and the husks are again de-husked in the Jas brand mini Dal mill as usual. Specification: -

Papad are the most popular adjuncts in the Indian diet. About 95% of the production of papad in the country is prepared at household level or in cottage scale, by traditional method using rolling pin for rolling the dough. This is time consuming and laborious. Jas Enterprises has developed a simple inexpensive foot operated press to make about 500 papad / hour from Dal flour dough. The thickness of the papad altered in the machine by adjusting the clearance between the roller & polpat. Being leg operated it is simple and easy to operate. This machine adopted for cottage scale production of papad. Raw materials required for papad making are locally available in rural areas. The preparation of papad consists of dough making using pulse flour (preferably urad dhal), salt, carbonates, farinaceous material and water. JAS PAPAD MAKING AUTOMATIC MACHINE

• This plant for making of Papad, mathiya, cholafali being a semi automatic plant, would involve processes right from the mixing of ingredients to collection of ready-to-deliver Papad at the collection

end. The main components of this semi-automatic Papad making plant of capacity are as under:- • 5 to 7 kg/hr. • 15 to 16 kg/hr. • 50 to 55 kg/hr. • 95 to 100 Kg/hr.

1. MIXER (Floor Kneading Machine):

This would consist of heavy-duty stainless steel body with multi-purpose arms. Heavy-duty gears are providing to take the full load and to avoid damage to the mixer arms.

2. SHEETER:

A sheeter consisting of a heavy- duty frame with gauging rollers driven by a motor with gearbox arrangement would be providing. The hopper would be of Stainless steel with proper taper. The dough is smooth formed from the hopper in the form

of a sheet and fed to the gauging rollers. The distance between the gauging rollers would be adjustable and this would depend on the desired thickness of the Papad, mathiya, cholafali. JAS NOODLE MAKING MACHINE

Wheat flour noodles are an important part in the diet of many Asians. It was believe that noodles originated in China as early as 5000 BC, then spread to other Asian countries. Today, the amount of flour used for noodle making in Asia accounts for about 40% of the total flour consumed. In recent years, Asian noodles have also become popular in many countries outside of Asia. This popularity is likely to increase.

THE BASICS

Wheat flour is the main ingredient for making Asian noodles. The dough is compress between Set of two rolls to form a dough sheet. The Jas Enterprises is developing during the sheeting process, contributing to the noodle texture. The sheeted dough is then slitting to produce noodles. The noodles are now ready for sale, or are further process to prolong shelf life, to modify eating characteristics or to facilitate preparation by the consumer. In the preparation of instant fried noodles, the steaming process causes the starch to swell and gelatinize. The addition of alkaline salts (Kan Sui, a mixture of sodium and potassium carbonates) in some Chinese type noodles gives them a yellow color and a firmer, more elastic texture.

Based on Raw Materials

Noodles made from wheat flour alone or in combination with buckwheat flour. Wheat flour noodles include Chinese and Japanese type noodles. There are many varieties in each noodle type, representing different formulation, processing and noodle quality characteristics. Noodles containing buckwheat are also call soba, meaning buckwheat noodle. These noodles are typically light brown or

gray in color with a unique taste and flavor. Chinese type noodles are generally make from hard wheat flours, characterized by bright creamy white or bright yellow color and firm texture. Japanese noodles are typical made from soft wheat flour of medium protein. It is desirable to have a creamy white color and a soft and elastic texture in Japanese noodles.

Noodle machines are best suited to mass production. Noodle processing operations include mixing raw materials, dough sheeting, compounding, sheeting /rolling and slitting. This series of processes remains constant among countries for all noodle types.

Dough is so sensitive to processing, as is that in bread dough. Variations in noodle-dough water absorption among different flours are generally within 2-3%, and this is usual determine by dough handling properties. Flour particle sizes and their distribution affect the time water penetrates into the flour. Large particle flours require a longer time for water to incorporate and tend to form larger dough lumps. It is desirable to have evenly distributed & relatively fine particle size flours to achieve optimum dough mixing.

Sheeting and Compounding

Crumbly dough pieces are dived into two portions, each passing through a pair of sheeting rolls to form a noodle dough sheet. The two sheets are then combine (compound) and passed through again sheeting rolls to form a single sheet. The roll gap is adjusting so that the dough thickness reduces.

Sheeting, Slitting and Waving

Further dough sheeting is doing by set of rolls with decreasing roll gaps. At this stage, roll diameter, sheeting speed and reduction ratio should be consider to obtain an optimum dough reduction. Noodle slitting is doing by a cutting machine, which is equipped with a pair of rolls, a slitter, and a cutter. The final dough sheets thicken is set on the rolls according to noodle type and measured using a thickness dial gauge. Noodle width determines the size of noodle slitter to be use. The sheet is cutting into noodle strands of desired width with a slitter. Noodles square. Noodle strands are cuts into a desirable length by a cutter. At this stage, Chinese raw noodle, Japanese udon noodle, chuka-men and Thailand bamee noodle making is complete. For making instant noodles, noodle strands are wave before steaming and cutting.

Drying Noodles

Noodle drying archive by air-drying. The air-drying process has been apply to many noodle types, such as Chinese raw noodles, Japanese udon noodles, steamed and air-dried instant noodles, and others. Air-drying usually takes 5-8 hours to dry regular noodles (long and straight) and 30-40 minutes to dry steamed and air-dried instant noodles. Drying by frying takes only a few minutes. Vacuum drying of frozen noodles is a newer technology making it possible to produce premium quality products. For the manufacture of regular dry noodles, raw noodle strands of a certain length are hanging on rods in a drying chamber with controlled temperature and relative humidity. Air-drying usually involves multistage processes since too rapid drying cause’s noodle checking, similar to spaghetti drying. In the first stage, low temperature (15-200 C) and dry air are apply to reduce the noodle moisture content from 40-45% to 25-27%. In the second stage, air of 400 C and 70-75 % relative humidity is use to ensure moisture migration from the interior of the noodle strands to outside surfaces. In the final stage, the product is further dried using cool air.

For the manufacture of air-dried instant noodles, wavy noodle-strands are first steam for 18-20 minutes at 1000 C, and then dried for 30-40 minutes using hot blast air at 800 C. The dried noodles are cool prior to packaging. Air-dried instant noodles have a low fat content so some people prefer them. They also have a longer shelf life because little fat rancidity is involved. Steaming appears to be very critical to this type of noodle since it affects the water dehydration rate of the product. However, slow output of the process and lack of pleasant shortening taste and mouth feel make the product less popular in Asia compared with instant fried noodles.

Drying by frying is a very fast process. Water vaporizes quickly from the surface of the noodles upon dipping into the hot oil. Dehydration of the exterior surface drives water to migrate from the interior to the exterior of the noodle strands. Eventually, some of the water in the noodles is replaces by oil. Many tiny holes are creating during the frying process due to the mass transfer, and they serve as channels for water to get in upon dehydration in hot water. It usually takes 3-4 minutes to cook or soak instant fried noodles in hot water before consumption.

Thus Vermicelli has, become a very popular instant food. Variety since last few years and its demand is steadily growing. There are some established brands but the market is very large and growing. A small-scale unit can compete with these brands in the local market on the price front because of low overheads, less transportation costs and reasonable advertisement budget. Proper and adequate placement of product and thrust on publicity at the point of sales would also be crucial.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS

It is very well standardized and simple. Wheat and other flours in small quantity are mix with around 25% to 30% of water in a mixer for about half an hour and dough is prepared. This dough is passing through extruder and long rods of vermicelli come out from the extruder with fitted dais 0.5 mm to 1.6 mm, which are cuts into the desire length and then placed in the tray drier for drying. Drying temperature is around 55-65 C and time required is 4½ to 5 hours. Dry piece are weighing and packed in attractively printed polythene bags. The weight and process loss is around 10%.

This machine is removes the skin from potatoes/peanuts (boiled). Washed potatoes are pouring, into the drum of the potato peeler from the top. The inner of the drum is coat with abrasive carborundum. GRAINS HUSK REMOVER

An emery roller machine is use to obtain cracking and scratching of clean pulses, grains, wheat, passing through it. For loosening, the husk to facilitate the subsequent oil penetration this is required. Gradually the clearance between the emery roller and cage (housing) is narrow from inlet to outlet. Cracking and scratching of husk takes place mainly by friction between pulses and emery as the material is passing through the narrowing clearance. JAS DE STONER (grain separators)

“Jas De-stoners" or grain separators are used for separating heavier materials like stones, glass, metal etc. from food grains and other dry granular material the principle used is stratification of the product into heavier and lighter fractions by forcing air through the bed of material. JAS MASTICATION JUICERS

Fruits or vegetables are insert into a chamber and contacts a screw or auger type mechanism that breaks down the plant material and then presses it against the housing, straining screen or crushes it between twin gears. The slowly rotating mechanism creates great pressing force on the fruit and vegetable matter and forces the juice out of this plant matter leaving a very dry pulp material that is automatically eject. This slow rotating mastication process minimizes heat and oxidation of the juice to preserve nutrient value. This method tends to provide a more pulpy and fibrous juice. Use requires reasonable force to insert hard fruits and vegetables into the feed chute and press against the auger or screw mechanism. Large fruits and vegetables must be cutting up into smaller chunks. Attachments make machines more versatile in preparing nut butters, pureed foods and pastas. Quieter operation than centrifugal juicers

A screw type single auger moves the pulp along the auger to press the pulp against a straining screen or housing. Soft fruits should be combining with harder fruits and vegetables, as the auger needs plant fiber to move the material along the length of the auger. Works well with leafy vegetables such as parsley, spinach and wheatgrass. Low 80-100 rpm speed is quiet and produces less foaming and oxidation than centrifugal juicers.

JAS CENTRIFUGAL JUICERS

There are two main types of Centrifugal Juicers: Fruits or vegetables are inserting into a chamber and a spinning cutting blade grinds the plant material down into small shreds and sends it against a straining screen basket that is spinning at the same high speed as the cutting blade. The weight of the plant material spinning at high speed creates a great force, which is pushing against the screen. This centrifugal force pulls the juice out of the plant material and the juice slips through the straining screen and leaves the dry material, or pulp, behind within the screen. This type of juicer is not recommending for soft fruits such as bananas and berries and leafy vegetables such as parsley, spinach and wheatgrass. These juicers produce some foaming due to the high speed of processing the juice. These units are louder in operation than Masticating type juicers.

Full Basket Type- This is a very effective way to extract juice and is consider

more effective than continuous type machines. The speed of the shredding wheel and basket is 3,000 rpm. The pulp from the fruits and vegetables are retain in the basket and is not automatically eject during the juicing process. This allows the centrifugal force to continually extracting the juice from the pulp screen/basket. The basket needs to be empty occasionally when full with pulp, usually after capacity of the juicer quarts of juice. Optional basket filters make this clean-up task easy.

Continuous Type - A second type of centrifugal juicer uses an angled strainer basket for continuous juicing.

The plant material is push down against the spinning shredding blade and then forced against an angled basket. The pulp hits the angled basket and centrifugal force pulls the juice out of the shredded plant material similar to the full basket type units, but the pulp does not stay in the basket. The spinning plant material moves up the angled basket and the pulp is ejecting from the machine into a container for easy disposal. This method allows for continuous juicing, as it is not necessary to stop to empty the basket while juicing. These units are easier to clean than full basket types.
