All new equipment had to be placed to both follow the flow of material and to fit into whatever space was available.

The tie-in of new piping to existing piping has been discussed.

The sequence of construction was not a smooth “back-to-front”

The “unknown, unplanned, and unforeseen” was significant at the site – special action was taken to mitigate the impact

Documentation of underground piping or

structures was limited. Used GPR in

attempt to locate all hidden obstructions;

located most obstructions down to about

6 feet

Could not see concrete foundations /

pipes located under an existing surface

concrete pad; obstructions were found

that blocked the EPC contractor

Juniper GTL initiated a “strike team” with

local contractor on-call who would

respond with a team, trucks and tools to

remove the obstruction
