Over 100 men and boys enjoyed the Fish Fry atGeorgia Veterans Memorial Park on May 6. Men’sMinistries President Tommy Bartlett thanks all whohelped make the event a success especially those whoset up and cleaned up and the Pleasant Grove cookingteam. Photo by James Edmunds.

From your missionaryI want to express myappreciation to everyone whoprayed for and supported the“Family Fun Day” at theSpeedway. God did a mightywork by bringing over 250people to the speedway to hearthe Gospel. We had seventeenknown decisions for Christ andover twenty eight families were

identified as not having a church home. This eventwas encouraging to many of our churches because itis a testimony of what we can do together in reachingthe lost in our communities. It is my prayer that Godwill lead us to do more of these evangelistic outreachevents and that many will be saved!

I appreciate Tommy Bartlett for all the work that heand his church did in cooking the fish at ourAssociational Men’s Ministry Fish Fry. We had over100 men and boys at this event, and God blessed us ina great way. Evangelist Darreyl O’Barr brought a veryencouraging message that inspired many men torecommit their lives to being a witness for Christ!

There are a lot of great things happening in ourchurches and in the events of the Association. Wehave seen what God can do when we join our heartsand hands together as we carry out the work He hascalled us to. I encourage you to pray for our summeractivities that will take place in our churches andassociation. We are anticipating God to move in amighty way in our children’s camps as well as themission trips that many of our churches will beinvolved with. Many churches will also be havingVacation Bible School which will provide anopportunity for children, teens, and adults to committheir lives to Christ. I can’t wait to see what God isgoing to do this summer and to see hundreds of liveschanged as a result of us being obedient and sharingthe Gospel through all of these events!

It is a joy to serve the Lord and it is a joy to serve you.Let us continue to love each other and unite togetherto build the Kingdom of God!

Pressing On Toward the Goal!Bro. Gary
