The St. Francis Borgia Religious Education ProgramThe St. Francis Borgia Religious Education Program with 143 students has completed another faith-filled school
year. The students’ Catholic faith and education were deepened and the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, FirstCommunion and Confirmation were celebrated. Both groups enjoyed a party filledwith goodies and good times!
The Catechists who give their time are parishioners from varied professional backgrounds. Many of the
Catechists also serve in other ministries in the parish such as the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC), the Adoration Chapel,Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Minister of Care, the Bereavement Ministry, and participate in various prayer groups. Thisstrong devotion and commitment to the Catholic faith allows them to share with our students in many ways.

Respect Life Some truths, like the very existence
of God, can be known by human reasonalone. Other truths, like the fact that God is
One in Three Persons – Father, Son, and HolySpirit – can only be known if God reveals them to us. Wecould never conclude on our own that God is a Trinity.Today’s Feast is not only an opportunity for thankingGod for telling us more about himself. It is an occasion totake courage as we strive for deeper unity within thehuman family. God reveals himself to us in order to makeus more like himself – not just as individuals, but asfamilies, nations, and an international community. Wegrow in unity as we give ourselves away to one another, just as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit give themselvesto each other completely.
