Observe and make the pattern of digits in the following figures by line segments of equal lengths with matchsticks, toothpicks, etc… and complete the accompanying tables.

Here is a game you can play with your family members.

• Think of a number

• Add 25

• Double it

• Add 40

• Divide by two

• Take away the number you begin with

No matter what number you choose the answer will always be 45.
