The first time judo was seen in the Olympics was at the 1932 Games in Los Angeles

Kano and about 200 judo students gave a demonstration

Judo became an Olympic sport for men in the 1964 Games in Tokyo

judo became an Olympic sport for women as well in 1988

Osoto Gari

As you step close to the outside of your opponent's foot you push your opponent off balance to the rear corner while holding him/her close. Your other leg then sweeps the opponent's leg out from under him/her using your body as a single lever motivated by pelvic action.

You get underneath your opponent's body, rest him on both shoulders, stand, and throw him forward.
