•Jude 1:3-4 --Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints. 4 For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

•Stealth – secretly crept in

•Immorality – ungodly persons

•Anti-Christian sentiment

•Romans 6:1 -- What shall we say then ? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase ? 2 May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? Who would reason

that way?

•God is love + He loves me = God would never disapprove of what I do.

•God is patient + God is merciful = God will keep waiting forever for me to straighten up.

•"What do you mean by using this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, 'The fathers eat the sour grapes, But the children's teeth are set on edge '?

•"Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent….”

•How do these folks infiltrate churches?

•Jude 1:10 -- But these men revile the things which they do not understand ; and the things which they know by instinct, like unreasoning animals, by these things they are destroyed.

•Cain – Genesis 4:8

•Balaam -- Numbers 22

•Korah – Numbers 16

•Jude 1:18 --that they were saying to you, "In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts."

•Jude 1:19 --These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.

•Romans 5:20-21 --The Law came in so that the transgression would increase ; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, 21 so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
